I purchased a 2023 Ram Limited from Andre, which had multiple defects. Despite my requests for cleaning and inspection, the truck had three paint defects: one on the tailgate, one on the passenger front door, and another on the rear driver-side door. The radio was also malfunctioning, and the adjustable pedals were not working. When I asked Andre about swapping the truck out for another one or giving my old one back, he did not take either option seriously. I visited the dealership twice, spending six hours each time, and they offered to repaint the sections with defects and fix the radio (the pedals were fixed). However, this was unsatisfactory since the truck was brand new. After several days of waiting, I emailed the sales manager, Jordan, but received no response. I then emailed Dan Wallis, the Chief Officer of Operations, who attempted to call me back, but I could not return his call as the line just rang, and I could not leave a message. I followed up with another email but am still waiting for his call. The truck was eventually painted after a few weeks, but the interior needed to be more detailed. The radio was reprogrammed and worked fine initially, but it is acting up again. Recently, I discovered that the leather on the dashboard and one of the doors is wrinkling. I plan to contact Ram next. Dan, I waited years for an opportunity to own a Limited, but your team's lack of support ruined it for me. Your lack of engagement makes me question your organization's culture because your team's attitude toward my situation reflects leadership, which is apparent there is none. More
If I could give less than one star. I would. I have had the displeasure of purchasing three vehicles from Crown. While this is not a review of the sales team, I will say sales is grea I would. I have had the displeasure of purchasing three vehicles from Crown. While this is not a review of the sales team, I will say sales is great they are not the issue here. My issue is with the shady bait and switch then lie about the transgression finance department, and the completely inept and utterly worthless service department. Rather than get too deep on my Finance department gripes I will state that their listed prices all include ADM, for accessories and artificial pad the dealerships pockets fees of $3000-$20,000++ and the hottest cars (allegedly). Receive even more charges. Dealer mark ups and accessory inclusions should be zero to very little if at all. The markups are pure dealer greed and it’s businesses like these xxxxxxxx that create artificial inflationary issues within markets for nothing more than to steal money from consumers. While I am a capitalist at heart I am not for screwing anyone by overcharging them. Crown is the king of the ADM overcharge and laughable for the rationale provided. They love to include useless charges like $500.00 to fill your tires with nitrogen… same $500 fee for a mini van or Jeep on 35” tires.: one Jeep tire coins use more nitrogen then minivan tires out whack and just plain whack.. While nitrogen may make a slight difference due to the fact it’s dry air it minimally impacts a tires wear and tear and $500 does not justify using it.. this is just one example. They also add useless security and extended warranties to every vehicle they will not protect against theft or broke. Part by refusjng to acknowledge coverage or make an excuse as to why a part is not included.. shady practices yet again not isolated to just me. “This leads me to their utterly useless, disorganized and less than adequate service department. Not only does this dealership service department take 10x to 20x longer to complete services requests when compared to every other dealership, Crown’s workmanship leaves much to be desired. W backyard mechanic is a better option in most cases. With the three vehicles I purchased I have never left the service team without having a new issue upon.vehicle pickup. From stupid stuff like overfilling fluid tanks to loose bolts and more concerning issues like. missing. Panels and Parts for your vehicle just to name a few. None of this is isolated instances and this has been documented and verified over years of vehicle drop offs and pickups.. Why am I. Complaining now? Simple after my vehicle was hit last year snd a replacement part arrived faulty and was installed by the dealership doing my repair upon pickup I identified the issue before taking. Delivery notified the dealership they said no problem we will “fix it” after waiting for 9months on the. We replacement. Part was I told I would have to pay 3500 to have the part installed by them.. These xxx clowns put a bad part in my vehicle. Acknowledge it was bad and then refuse to correct the issue.. Well my patience has worn thin and it’s time I allow my attorney to handle this and maybe just maybe this wake up call will Correct the glaring problem endemic Crowne Dodge issues. Wishful. Thinking yes the ownership is a family of xxxx bags who only care about getting richer by stealing from hard working. Customers they fleece with lies empty promises and shady practices… More
Let me start by saying that I am a veteran and I usually have my ducks in a row whenever I plan to do something. I was specifically looking for this vehicle and already had financing lined up, along with a have my ducks in a row whenever I plan to do something. I was specifically looking for this vehicle and already had financing lined up, along with a check. All the dealership had to do was sell me the car. There was no haggling or anything. I couldn't have made it any easier. In summary there was no sense of urgency, poor communication and no attention to detail on their end. It took 2-1/2 weeks to receive the vehicle from the time of initiating the transaction. I bought this car online with plans to have it shipped 7 hours away. After completion of signing the docs, communication took a nose dive. I overnighted the check, there was a discrepancy so it was sent back (my mistake and I'll own that). However, it was mailed to the UPS store where I sent it from, rather than my address. I asked about the check's whereabout for 4 days before finally getting tracking information (tracking should've been provided when sent). I go to UPS (they also failed to call me) and I overnighted the check again after fixing my error. The check was also $195 higher than the original price due to a price change when I began the process and I asked them to refund the difference on a handwritten note that was included with the check, I'll come back to that. Also, the customer relations manager sent a text congratulating me on a purchase for a car I didn't have yet, I'll come back to that too. I go back and forth with the internet sales manager for the next 3 days asking what's going on since communication became spotty. I began to feel like they didn't care if they sold the car or not and was tempted to tell them to keep it several times. He said they still didn't have my down payment, in which I gave them my information to make the transaction during document signing and reminded him of this. After they processed my down payment and the check, I had to hound them again about shipping. The car shipped the following day through an independent carrier and shows up at 11pm (really professional of them right?) in which I had to pay $100 more than what I was initially told. It shows up with no documentation at all from the dealership! How do they expect me to get license plates???? So now I have to get ahold of the dealership again. The internet sales manager claims they'll send it out. After 3 more days of nothing I have to ask again, so now they finally email it to me. I attempted to respond to the customer relations manager to discuss my experience via text and also left a voicemail , no response. I also did not receive a refund in the difference of my check vs the price of the vehicle so now I have to figure out my next course of action on that. I felt like once I signed the documents, they cared less about expediting the process. The final insulting thing is that the oil change indicator is active, so now my newly purchased vehicle needs an oil change immediately! More
Crown Dodge Service appt: I called two weeks ago and got an appt for my Promaster van. They sent me a text as well as an email reminder for the appt. I arrived and within 5 minutes someone came over got an appt for my Promaster van. They sent me a text as well as an email reminder for the appt. I arrived and within 5 minutes someone came over to say hello, confirmed my appt and within 5 minutes of that Scott the service adviser came over. He knew exactly what the problem was with the power steering. I was also getting a key programmed and he said it would be an hour. So I waited. There was a nice table in the shade and I was able to do some work on my computer while I waited. The restroom was clean. I saw the greeter (I am not sure if that is the appropriate title) going around with her iPad as new cars were pulling up. I got a text in 35 minutes saying the van was ready. Scott met me at the cashier counter and went over the invoice and what was done. The cashiers, greeter and person who made the appt were all very nice. I have taken my van in before and Scott was the adviser then as well and he has been great. My overall experience was 10 out 10, 5 Star. Awesome! Thanks! Ben More

i'm only selecting one star because negative star is not an option.
