I arrived at Curry Acura an hour before closing. As I entered the showroom and was looking at the TSX and TL parked on the showroom floor, I heard expletives coming from one of the inner offices. I approached the reception desk and explained I was interested in a TL and the receptionist offered to find me a salesperson. She asked two (2) different salespeople to assist, but BOTH said they were busy even though they were NOT working with customers. She made a few calls and finally after standing around for five (5) minutes <real time>, I was approached by someone. I explained that I was intersted in a 2011 TL (not a 2012) and was swiftly handed off to ANOTHER salesperson. Consequently, this person was one of the ones who stated they were busy in front of me 5 minutes earlier. Furman Byrd was friendly and accomodating, however. I explained what I was looking for and he told me what he had in stock. I asked to see the car and he grabbed the key for the vehicle. When we were on the lot he stated that this was the ONLY 2011 they had left in stock, yet I saw 2-3 other '11's parked around this vehilce. When I asked what they were, he stated they didn't have the tech package - but I thought you didn't have any more 2011's? He then told me that supplies were limited because of the earthquake in Japan. When I stated that the TL is BUILT IN THE UNITED STATES he quickly stated THE PARTS! According to the window sticker on the TL, 80% of the TL's parts are sourced in the United States. ;-( When we went back to the showroom, I stated I was interested in a different color in which he stated other colors would be difficult to get. I understood this and stated I was still shopping around. During this conversation, the receptionist was loudly discussing facebook with other unoccupied salespeople. Apparently, they were friends with some "freak" she met at a bar and added to her facebook. How professional! This was before I was introduced to Jim Raysor, the Sales Manager. He didn't seem eager to write a deal either. I may have bought from them, but the way I was "handed-off" made me feel uncomfortable. They're unprofessionalism was unprecedented. I bought my Acura from DCH Heart Acura in Wappingers Falls where I was treated with the utmost respect and I felt my business was appreciated. More
I am very satisfied with my experience at Curry Acura! There was no nonsense. They quoted me a fair price over the phone and did not attempt to play any games when I arrived at the dealership. My salesman was Jay Gold. Jay is different from other car dealers I have worked with in the past. He does not try to "pull one over on you." He worked hard to ensure that I was happy with my car and that it was ready for me when I arrived. Jay even followed up with a phone call after my purchase to ensure that I was satisfied with my car. I love my Acura and I had highly recommend this dealership! More

Curry Acura has some of the most attentive, polite and helpful employess that I have encountered in a long time. Mr. Furman Byrd always recognizes you and asks how you like your car. I also appreciated that they continued to stay in contact with me after I left the dealership to make sure I was completely satisfied and that all my questions were answered. But the purchase of my Acura TL with Mr. Furman Byrd, was the best buying experience I ever had. He was very courteous, kind, honest, and understanding. He made me feel right at home, the first time I visited the dealership. I've been purchasing Ford cars all my life. But after speaking with Mr. Byrd, he convince me that Acura , was the way to go. He went over every detail of the car, during my purchase, and before. He was upfront with me. Also he had a great sense of humor. That made me feel relaxed. Also the Sales Manager, Mr. Bruce Sarno, was kind, and honest. He gave me an great deal on this new vehicle. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends and co-workers. I very much appreciate Yuri's strong dedication to customer service and his special attention to the details of the lease terms and vehicle features. He truly cares about making the experience of leasing an Acura one that will have his customers eagerly returning for an encore performance. I also had the good fortune and pleasure this time in working with the award winning senior sales consultant Ron Sorensen, who convinced me about the benefits of turning in my 2007 MDX three months before the end of the lease term and getting into a new 2011 MDX. Rob is extremely knowledgeable about the features of Acura vehicles and earnestly focused on addressing the driving needs of his customers, always ready to answer questions.
