They should have been honest with me Since the mid 1980,s I have leased two TLs and purchased one RL, all from Curry. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these cars and my experience with the s Since the mid 1980,s I have leased two TLs and purchased one RL, all from Curry. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these cars and my experience with the sales and service departments over that time. Then on June 9, 2104, I purchased an AWD TL. That's when my problems began. This car and my experience purchasing it was very different.. The day after I took the car out of the showroom, I realized that it had a very, very hard and uncomfortable ride. Every bump in the road, every manhole cover, every slight road imperfection resulted in a most uncomfortable and hard ride, worse than I ever felt in any of my Acuras. The car actually felt as though it hit bottom over some of the bumps. I went back to the dealer ship the next day and told the sales manager that I was very disappointed with the car and asked him why it rode so hard. He said these cars just ride that way. I called him a couple of days later and asked him what I could get for my car if I turned it in now. That's how unhappy I am. I'm still waiting for an answer. If the salesman had told me that this car had a very stiff suspension and rode hard, I would never have purchased it. He never said a word about the suspension. When we took a test drive, all of the roads we took were very smooth with hardly any road imperfections. I could not possibly realize the car had such a hard ride on this road test. I really feel as though I was misled either intentionally or unintentionally. Today I took the car into he service department to have them check the suspension. We went on a road test on a more realistic series of streets. During the ride, the mechanic acknowledged that the car rode hard, but he also said that this is the way the TL rides. He also put the car on the lift to check out the suspension and said that there was nothing wrong with it. That's just the way these cars ride he said. I have nothing bad to say about the service department. They have always treated me fairly and well over the years. My issue is with the sales department. I wonder if anyone who bought a car from Curry and had an experience similar to mine wouldn't feel the same way. This is not a good way to do business. They could have at least told me the truth. I'm sure that I would have decided not to purchase the car or looked into another Acura model that had a better ride. I don't enjoy the car and feel as though I was misled when purchasing it. I would like to turn the car back to the dealership. More
