I was so frustrated and disappointed by the time I arrived to the dealership that afternoon. Luckily, the first person that greeted me was the most helpful salesman that I encountered on my quest for a car. My experience a Curry was great. At one point I even commented that we were having too much fun. Joe found me the perfect vehicle for me within the budget guidlines that I provided him with. I love that you get so many perks from purchasing a vehicle at Curry. Great Salesman, Friendly , Helpful but not Pushy A few weeks ago I began seriously shopping for a new car and my wife sent me to a few car dealerships in our neighborhood to test drive new 2014 sedan A few weeks ago I began seriously shopping for a new car and my wife sent me to a few car dealerships in our neighborhood to test drive new 2014 sedans. We were considering purchasing either an Acura, Honda, Lexus or BMW. When I entered the Curry Acura dealership on Central Avenue I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and within minutes was introduced to George Petkanes. George made me feel very comfortable and though I explained to him that I was just beginning my search for a car and had no intentions on buying anything on that day, he was grateful for my openness and in turn was even more helpful that I had imagined possible. We discussed the different options for the Acura TL and George took me out for a test drive and encouraged me to take the car on the highway and try different road conditions. The car handled great and then we returned to the dealership and George spent a great deal of time reviewing the options of leasing or buying and I felt that so moved by his attentiveness and professionalism, that if I didn't have to go home and talk to my wife, I was ready to buy the car! George Petkanas and I shared stories of our children and their successes. He hadn't said a word about his children but I noticed some fascinating photographs on his desk and inquired about them. I was moved by his dedication to his job as well as well his family and I felt that George epitomized the perfect car salesman; someone who loves his job and really cares about making sure that his customers buy the car that fits their needs.
