Very strange conversation I talked to Matt Garza about leasing a vehicle instead of buying for the first time. He took all of my information and ran my credit, which is 840. He called back and started asking why I would want to lease when I have never done that before. My husband and I were both on the phone and we explained that we have heard it is a great way to get a lower payment on a nicer car. Also, that we know several people in the car business and they all do leases, which gave us confidence in it as well. Matt keep pressing us and said that his manager asked him why we wanted to lease and he couldn't give him a good answer. He said that 99.9% of people do the same thing over and over and never change. He said that we must have had a life change or something. He seemed to get really personal and we explained that there hasn't been a life change, we just wanted to try a lease. I said it seems like you are trying to dissuade me from leasing, so why don't you show me some purchasing numbers. He said no. I asked again to show me some numbers of some kind since you already ran my credit and he kept asking why again and we said forget it. It was very strange and I won't be calling D&M again. He also kept repeating that he is a financial counselor, which i thought was wierd as well, as that is not why I called a leasing company. I normally don't leave bad reviews for anyone, but I have to say that it delayed an already long process of finding the right car deal and caused some undue distress. More

The only small glitch is that I was told the check I handed him would be held until 9/20 before it was processed. It clearly was processed soon as it hit my bank on 9/19 causing them to float me the money to cover a pending deposit. This cost be additional monies with my bank and created a bad image for me with my bank. I understand the sales game and do not hold Josh responsible for this, but it is not nice to be told one thing and not be able to count on his word. More
