I contacted her midway through my existing lease just so she would be aware of my situation and expectations - there was no real rush. That was until I was in an accident that totaled my vehicle. Fortunately, Keitha jumped in to handle all the heavy lifting and made my leasing experience a piece of cake for me. First Time Lease My fiance and I decided we wanted to buy a new car together. This is our first major purchase together. Prior to contacting D&M, we had gone to the local dealership and spent all afternoon there just to get the usual runaround. I had heard of leasing companies, but never looked into them. So we came home and I got online and did some research and sent an email to D&M. I was contacted by Emory "Skip" Forward. He was very polite and helpful right from the start. I told him just real quick about our experience at the dealer and what kind of car we were looking for. We knew what we wanted, had a fairly specific option list we wanted, and also a price window in mind. We talked on a Monday, and he got right to work on it. He is very attentive and remained in contact with us and we talked quite a bit throughout the week; we never felt like he had forgotten about us. He was very patient and worked very hard to get us the car we wanted at the price we were looking for. He took the majority of our information over the phone, and information about our trade in. He gave us a reasonable offer for our trade sight unseen over the phone. Once we came to an agreement, which was very easy, no run around or back and forth like at the dealership, we sent a down payment to secure the deal. Friday of that week we made the 3 hr drive to D&M in Dallas in our trade. We got there and our new vehicle was parked out front, cleaned up and looking great. We went inside and met with Skip and after about fifteen minutes of going over and signing paperwork we were on our way outside to see the new car up close. No last minute surprises or fees or anything. It was really nice and painless. We turned in the keys for our trade, thanked him for all he had done for us, and off we went in our new car. Our leasing experience with D&M and Skip was excellent. I highly doubt we will ever go through a traditional dealership again in the future. I will highly recommend D&M and Skip to anyone I talk to in the future and also to anyone who reads this review. Thanks again Skip and D&M, we really love our new car and the treatment we received.
