Unsatisfied with this response and attitude, I raised this with the manager who said that the problem was unfamiliar and not related. However, I later learned that Tokyo just finished a recall of more than 500,000 later model RAV4s with digital display problems. Also, there are various techniques explained on internet sites for dealing with this problem, yet this service department said they had not see it before. Finally, it seems that is can be caused in numerous inadvertent ways including any digital diagnostics that are conducted by the dealer. Overall very unhappy with the attitude, lack of honesty, and lack of competence. I would avoid this dealer. More
