My head is ready to explode dealing with the level of bad customer service from this dealership! Second time I've had an issue and all I want is to get service and go on my way. I setup an appointment for a hitch recall (mind you the second recall of a new model Jeep Renegade in less than 2 years). Yesterday they called to confirm my appointment, which is good. Last night for the 4th in less than two years the remote and power locking system doesn't work.
Can you imagine, you can't unlock your car doors and have to manually open them from the drivers side? So I come in 10/27 and what annoys me about this place is you walk in and stand there, look around, and wait until someone comes get you or you ask for help.
So I talk to a guy who asks me why I was there and has me sit in another office. I was told the repairs would take 3 hours. If you can call to confirm why not tell me then the repair time. Normally I would wait but I had an interview to go to later. So I tell them I can't wait and how long for the just the power lock issue to be resolved, they say 3 hours. So 3 hours for the hitch and another 3 for the power lock, 6 hours really?
I tell them it's important for the power lock since I don't use the hitch, but again its 3 hours. God forbid I'm in an accident or emergency and can't open my doors. So I ask to speak to the manager and the guy points in a direction. The manager wasn't helpful AT ALL and seemed to have an attitude of no concern about telling me it'll take 3 hours take it or leave it. So I turn and walk out, and nothing no trying to stop me, no phone call to resolve the situation.
Last time I was there for a recall the young lady was able to schedule me in the express service. She can do that and the manager can't? To make it even worse for this dealership, I call the one in Clarksville. Lo and behold I was told the hitch takes 1.5 hrs and the power lock which is a software glitch 1 hour. That's 2.5 hours total and was able to schedule a time on Monday, tried the Rockville location and was told 11/21.
This dealership is less than 3 miles from my house and I thought I could deal with average service. I'd rather drive 10+ miles to Clarksville where at least they're more truthful.
