"Most incompetent "service" provider"

1 star is too generous for this place. It should be negative stars. Our experience for the last two months to get repairs on a 7 month old Chrysler Pacifica obviously still under manufacturer warranty: 1) Never responded to online request for appointment; 2) After calling multiple times because either no one picks up or it just rings and rings, we finally spoke to someone. The next available appointment for an oil change and to diagnose the two issues was in 3 weeks!!!! 3) At the appointment, the intake person literally had no knowledge about the car and made nonsensical "suggestions" about how the issue can be repaired (the touch screen which had a dead, blacked-out spot larger than a quarter will be repaired by a software update). 4) after car was left with them for a full day, we were told that they have to order parts and would only take 3-4 business days. 5) We waited for two weeks and no one called us to let us know whether parts arrived . When we called, they couldn't find the order, then said parts had been ordered and arrived and someone was going to call us the next day. 6) Of course, no one has actually called us. Multiple attempts to call THEM over the next 3 days have been thwarted by a) disconnected calls; b) actual refusal to look into the issue and a request to call back the next day; c) endless ringing that's never picked up. So, almost 3 weeks after the appointment, we still do not know whether the parts have been ordered or not. Seriously considering trading the car - what's the point of having a warranty if you can never actually get the car serviced when it's needed? Will NEVER buys a car or have a car serviced from any Darcars ever. There is no service and no accountability. There is plenty of incompetence however.

"Worst Volkswagen Service - Don't Use"

Service is very poor. Calls are not returned timely, diagnostics are misinformed and incomplete, worst dealer service I have ever had. Car was at dealership for a week to diagnose the remote did not work because car battery was dead and would not hold a charge. My daughters VW Passat was towed to dealer on Saturday for a 7am Monday morning appointment. The remote would not open door, and the manual key did not work on door locks. AAA was able to "jimmy" door and tow car on Saturday to dealership. I had to call at 5pm on Monday to find out status (they did not call as committed), and response is key doesn't work need to order on. Service department said they can't enter the car to diagnose the remote issue. Key would be delivered Thursday. I had to call service at 3pm on Thursday to find out status (they did not call as committed), and response was key did not arrive but they "got into car" to diagnose dead battery and needed replacement. I asked to replace, and response was technician has left for the day. I had to insist a battery be put into the car. Finally heard back at 5pm a battery was put into car and remote key worked. Service wanted car overnight to insure battery was not draining. I had to call at 11am on Friday (was told I would get a call) and no status. Called back at noon to find out key arrived, battery was fine, but thermostat indicator light was on and needed $840 repair. This after car is there for a week. Did not authorize, service department can not be trusted. Upon picking up the car, find out the driver door lock just spins 360 degrees when a key is put in. Now lock is broken, dealer said AAA did it. BS. New battery cost $500 with all the labor charges and now I have a broken lock which they claim AAA did. Do not use.

"So annoyed with this place"

My head is ready to explode dealing with the level of bad customer service from this dealership! Second time I've had an issue and all I want is to get service and go on my way. I setup an appointment for a hitch recall (mind you the second recall of a new model Jeep Renegade in less than 2 years). Yesterday they called to confirm my appointment, which is good. Last night for the 4th in less than two years the remote and power locking system doesn't work. Can you imagine, you can't unlock your car doors and have to manually open them from the drivers side? So I come in 10/27 and what annoys me about this place is you walk in and stand there, look around, and wait until someone comes get you or you ask for help. So I talk to a guy who asks me why I was there and has me sit in another office. I was told the repairs would take 3 hours. If you can call to confirm why not tell me then the repair time. Normally I would wait but I had an interview to go to later. So I tell them I can't wait and how long for the just the power lock issue to be resolved, they say 3 hours. So 3 hours for the hitch and another 3 for the power lock, 6 hours really? I tell them it's important for the power lock since I don't use the hitch, but again its 3 hours. God forbid I'm in an accident or emergency and can't open my doors. So I ask to speak to the manager and the guy points in a direction. The manager wasn't helpful AT ALL and seemed to have an attitude of no concern about telling me it'll take 3 hours take it or leave it. So I turn and walk out, and nothing no trying to stop me, no phone call to resolve the situation. Last time I was there for a recall the young lady was able to schedule me in the express service. She can do that and the manager can't? To make it even worse for this dealership, I call the one in Clarksville. Lo and behold I was told the hitch takes 1.5 hrs and the power lock which is a software glitch 1 hour. That's 2.5 hours total and was able to schedule a time on Monday, tried the Rockville location and was told 11/21. This dealership is less than 3 miles from my house and I thought I could deal with average service. I'd rather drive 10+ miles to Clarksville where at least they're more truthful.

"Always great service"

I"ve never imagine that i will be going to a dealer service repair to do all my car repairs. I mean Dealerships get a bad rep on overcharging on things that a mom and pop shop would charge pennies for. But i do have to admit that the trust that my vehicle is being handled by professional with factory parts being installed is always a rest assurance of ease. I've never seen a service rep deal so professionally as Brian Page... I believe that this guy is - DE! perfect image when it comes to customer service, i mean Just by his honest and sincere energy i have no problem spending hundreds :) "just Joking" Thank you Chrysler as long as Brian is at this location i will bring my vehicle to the dealership for all my repairs.

"Should be called "lack of Service Department""

I called to schedule a service appointment because my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan was not starting reliably and had left my wife stranded several times. Service writer said they were busy and asked if they could call me back. The call was never returned. Was able to get car started the next day and drove immediately to the service center at the dealership. Explained that if I turned the car off it likely would not start again. Service writer said I had to schedule an appointment and the nearest available appointment was in 3 weeks. I immediately drove to another companies service center and the car was repaired (bad TIPM in case you are interested) the next day. I will do my best to never deal with DAR Cars again.

Noticed when making my phone appointment, the receptionist handled the call in a professional manner. Usually in the past this wasn't the case. Noticed my car was handled by a service assistant before seeing my service rep. This was nice. Had an 8 am appointment. Took entirely too long to finish my appointment. I was there for 4 hours. Don't think the work warranted that amount of time. It was appreciated that the car service took me to get something to eat while waiting that length of time. Explained to the service rep (lady) that air conditioner needed to be checked. She even asked me if it was blowing hot air or not working. When I spoke with the tech he hadn't checked it cause it wasn't written on the list. I wasn't happy. However, he immediately took it back and check it out and found the cause. I thanked him for that. The cashier wasn't very friendly but once I engaged her she smiled and all was ok. Lastly, I think this dealership needs to have a quiet wait room. You should realize that not everyone wants to look at or hear that television programing that's on. I not a tv person. Being there for 4 hours, I brought my work to do and there's no where to settle your mind at this dealership. Please think about getting a quiet room where people can work without listening to babies, tv, and cell phone conversations. Overall, no one tops Mr. Brian. He takes care of me every time with excellent service. I'll see you at the next visit.
