Find Keith, DO NOT DEAL WITH ONE OF THE SALES MANAGERS I wish I can do two separate reviews. One for the dealership in general, and one for Keith Harris. I really LIKE Keith - he was extremely helpful and I feel like he goes above and beyond for his customers. HOWEVER, the rest of my experiences at this dealership were not ideal. After my car got stolen, I went there to personally have my warranty canceled since I hadn't used it and I could still get a full refund. I spent so much time! I even went back a second day. The finance person NEVER did actually cancel this warranty! I looked up how to do it myself, and found out that finance people get a cut for every warranty sold! I went through HondaCare myself, explained the situation to them, so they canceled my warranty themselves. Also, the sales manager (I forgot his name), was extremely rude and abrupt. I did not feel like a respected customer while dealing with him. He also MISLED me into thinking I was buying a certified pre-owned Honda from a Honda dealership, but when I walked out and asked for a SECOND key, I learned that there's no 2nd key because it wasn't a certified pre-owned Honda??? Lastly, while dealing with this sales manager, he showed me the base number for the car, and we agreed to lower it a bit. He showed me a breakdown of the costs on paper, with a lower price. HOWEVER, I was so stupid not to check the final number before signing - they had me waiting for the WHOLE day, and I was so tired, I just wanted to get out of there. THE NUMBER ON THE FINAL PAPER THAT I SIGNED WITH FINANCE WAS NOT THE SAME AS WE AGREED ON THE PAPER THE SALES MANAGER SHOWED ME. Imagine how much I felt conned when I found out - after my car got stolen, since I had to go through every single paperwork for that car. So if you still come here, LOOK FOR KEITH. HE WILL HELP YOU. AVOID THE SALES MANAGER AT ALL COSTS. HE IS NOT ONLY RUDE, BUT CONS YOU. Also, be wary of extra things that the finance person offers. He wants you to get them because he gets a cut! More

Mike reached out to us via email in response to a web query we placed online and was responsive, easy to work with, and helpful throughout the process of identifying and selecting a car (all online). When we found the right car, Mike met us at the dealership, walked us through the car and all of it's features, and offered us advice that we found to be extremely useful. After a test drive, we were sold. The negotiation process was fair and straightforward, and ultimately we were very satisfied with our purchase from DarCars and our excellent salesman Mike Murphy. We could not recommend Mike highly enough and will pass along his name to our family and friends who will purchase Honda's in the future! More
4th Honda from here!!! Just purchased our 4th Honda from this Bowie location and two other family members have also purchased a Honda from there. We worked with Ifiok Umoh on this purchase and he arranged an excellent price on BOTH our Honda trade in as well as the new Honda HRV we purchased. As part of the customer focused process, Ifiok took the time to explain to my wife and I ALL the features of our new HRV; he demonstrated how to use the technology (lane watch and the ability to use voice commands are great), synced the phones, and went over the users guide, and the personalized settings for the vehicle. Ifiok also urged us to contact him with any questions we had or to stop by and see him for any remedial training we needed to enjoy all the features on our HRV. The managers on duty Glenn and Rick took the time to come over and thank us for our purchase, the entire process was completed in a timely manner and Jamar lined up all of the paper work for us to sign and quickly get on our way. Should also note if you need service on your Honda see the great folks in the service department. They offer evening hours for service which works best for us and Mohamed Jalloh and his colleagues have taken great care of our Honda maintenance needs and questions. It's been a nightmare I have never met a group of more dishonest people than here. I was in the process of purchasing a car with salesman Mike Murphy after agreeing upon a I have never met a group of more dishonest people than here. I was in the process of purchasing a car with salesman Mike Murphy after agreeing upon a price with Ken K. The price was agreed upon, the paperwork was done, and I was told to pick it up on the following day (Tuesday). Between the time this happened (6:27 PM on Monday) and the time the dealership closed that night (9 PM), they sold the car to someone else. Nobody even bothered to call to inform me of this. Then, Mike Murphy tried telling me they had another of the same car and kept trying to get me to come in. I asked for pictures of it and it was not at all the right car. When I mentioned this, he got very angry with me and blamed me for them selling the car I wanted, which is completely ridiculous. I emailed the general manager about this, and later got a call from the sales manager (Ken K). He fed me some lines about miscommunication and all that, but I didn't buy any of it. They used me in negotiations with someone else to get them to buy the car well above market value. I told Ken I would give them the opportunity to earn my business. He called me later in the week to discuss some things about purchasing a car. We left off with the understanding he would call me later that evening or early the next morning. Four days later, I still haven't received a call, despite me calling him multiple times, leaving a voicemail and a message with the receptionist. I have been trying to purchase a car for over a week now, and they are completely unresponsive and dishonest. They also caused me to miss a trip home to visit my family, as I planned on driving home to New England after I was told to pick up the car on Tuesday and didn't buy plane tickets for this very reason. I would not recommend this dealership. They treat their customers with little respect and use slimy business practices. More

I called and talked to the appointment coordinator twice, letting him know that I had tried in the past to schedule this with them. I was told that the service advisors handled this and that they would be be giving me a call. I never received a call back after 4 tries. Called another Honda dealer and they scheduled me on the spot. Bad business model folks. I was a service advisor for another brand for 4+ years. Not calling people back is the number one complaint, and a good way to get a terrible CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score. This needs to be addressed. Fortunately for me, I never had to deal with them in person. I'll take any future business to another Honda dealer, even though I live less than 5 miles from this place. ***EDIT: Received a nice phone call from the service manager responsible for the emails sent from the appointment coordinator I spoke to. He had been out of the office and therefore did not receive/forward the emails during his time off over the holidays. I revised my scathing 1.5 to a 3 star review, since they made the effort to email and call me quickly about the dropped ball. I will consider giving them a chance should I need something in the future, barring my visit to Annapolis Honda this week. However, it should be noted that when this kind of system is in place, steps should be taken when someone will be out of the office to forward these emails/calls to someone else so that the customer is not left hanging. Spent over 5 hours there trying to get the price where it should be, they never did lower the price of the car, just gave me more for my trade in (which they were supposed to pay off). However, left there happy and excited about my new car. Then 5 weeks later, got a call from finance that there was still paperwork we needed to sign to get my 500 dollar military discount. I then realized they had not processed any paper work, I wasn't going to get my tags in time or payment book AND my car I traded in was not paid off!!! Went in to sign papers and was assured my car would be paid off. I then got late payment notices from my car loan bank and it is going to affect my credit! Now it is 7 weeks later and nothing has been resolved, still have to pay off the car I traded in and no update from HONDA. More

We go for service and have purchased cars from there. The service is always very good. Mike Wolyn recently sold us a vehicle and he was great. He's funny, friendly and a very nice guy. We came late to look for a car and he stayed with us, answered our questions, helped with everything. We are very happy with our new purchase and will continue to go there. More

I have lived in NY my entire life. My expectations were not high regarding the purchase process. I have been surprised in both the process and everyone's behavior. I was treated with respect, no one tried to bulldoze me. Asia, my salesperson, was particularly helpful,as I have a disability. I was happy with the terms and now am the proud owner of a CRV. I don't know everyone's names who helped with all the details but they also were great. The money man, the business woman who had me sign a bunch of papers to sign. Asia knows their names. They all were great! Definitely not a NY experience. Dacars Honda in Maryland was so much better! Thank you! More

Scheduled appointment at 8 am on Saturday, I arrived at dealer on time, they took my car in and call me from the waiting area 20 minutes later stating they would NOT see my car, the service rep said to bring it during the week because no one could look at it. Folks, why wast my time like that? Last Honda I will own! Nowadays any car quality is very close, so I believe where a brand of cars can separate themselves is at the service. This particular experience is my second one at DARCARS Honda of Bowie, certainly the last. Additionally, why stick to a product that although generally good is not being serviced correctly? I have owned many Hondas and Acuras and believe they are ok. I also own a Toyota and have owned Lexus as well, excellent brands. After this sad and poor treatment I will go back to owning another Lexus or a Toyota as I ALWAYS get treated with respect at their locations. More
