Jeff was my service man and he was extremely helpful. Not only did he help pinpoint my car issues but he was so patient throughout the process and willing to help me. Ultimately, it was a challenging experience but I am happy with my purchase. I communicated with a sales agent prior to coming on site to identify a car that I wanted to purchase. The sales agent emaile happy with my purchase. I communicated with a sales agent prior to coming on site to identify a car that I wanted to purchase. The sales agent emailed a spec sheet, I left a deposit and I agreed this is the car I would like to move forward with. I arrived on site, and the actual price was about 5k higher, and the sales agent made no mention of this in the time between agreeing to come on site, to actually coming on site (about 4 days). When I questioned this, I was met with "I just emailed you the spec sheet, we never agreed to a price." He further explained that hybrids have a premium and that this is the price. While I understand that dealerships are a business - it was challenging to trust anything else that was communicated and did not appreciate having my intelligence questioned when I asked a pretty straight forward question about pricing. To be clear, this was likely not his intent - but when a straightforward question is met with an indirect answer that avoids the true question - this is the outcome. When I pressed the question on why this wasn't shared earlier, the sales agent brought back my deposit slip and told me that there were other people who were interested and they didn't have to accept my offer. Experiences like this make it difficult to work with the dealership, and it was disheartening. These behaviors ultimately have a disproportionate impact individuals on who may not be as comfortable negotiating. Every person should be able to walk in and have the same experience. The Sales Director, Eric, was kind, and helpful in the discussions. Shawn from the Finance Department was top notch, and I would absolutely work with him again. More
