I just bought a new car with the help of Jesse Torreyson who is the greatest car salesman with whom I have ever worked! He was kind and patient while I looked around at other cars/dealerships. After some of my experiences elsewhere, I was more than happy to return to DARCARS Toyota in Frederick to buy my new car. Right when we arrived Ken was very pleasent and welcomed my wife and I professionally. We wanted to get right down to business and Ken could not have been more helpful. Excrutiating experience. Had to sign a credit agreement when paying in full by check, three blank forms had to be signed, had to be regaled with family stories. All I wanted to do was buy a vehicle. The vehicle purchased (Prius c 3) is noisy, less than comfortable interior (hard seats, cramped interior), lots of "gee whiz" techno gadgets, but short on comfort. I bought the vehicle for its reported gas mileage. I payed nearly $30K for the gas savings, but had to sacrifice driving comfort and performance. I sincerely hope I haven't made a very expensive error. The only help I received was a reminder that I needed to pay better than $1k for an extended warranty (and that took several repeats before the price was quoted). Too many things were repeated over and over. This is not the first vehicle I've purchased, and I am familiar with what constitutes a "drive train". In short, I was made to feel like a dolt. Thank heavens, my future dealings with Darcars will be limited. More

After researching and evaluating new and used cars for weeks, we had narrowed our search down to 2 vehicles we wanted to test drive, a new Scion XD or a used Honda Element. We had a hard time finding an Element with low miles, and finally found one just outside the Frederick area. We planned on hitting the Hagerstown Toyota to test drive the XD... but got there to find a full lot of people looking for cars... but a dealership that was strangely closed for the day. Ran a search on my find to see if there was a Toyota dealership in the Frederick area, and thankfully came across DARCARS. We met Jason there, who put us in an XD to try out, which we ended up not liking. He asked us a few questions about what we did and did not like about it, and had us test drive a RAV4. To our shock, we loved the vehicle. It was absolutely perfect in all the categories we went over with him. The perfect recommendation wasnt what sold us on this dealership however. The salesman, Jason Vaughn, will be our salesman for life. We HATE the tricks and tactics that salesmen try to pull. However, this was clearly not the case here. Jason was very cool with us, asked us the right questions, no negative comments, tricks, or sales tactics... and we REALLY appreciated how the whole thing was handled. The day we decided to buy was the last day of a few Toyota incentives, so we had emailed Jason about a vehicle we noticed on their website. I had a reply email within 2 minutes of the dealership opening, and had a deal done within 30 minutes. No arguing, fighting, anger. It was like making a deal with your best friend. I cannot rate this dealership and salesman highly enough. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Our other vehicle will be due for a trade in within the next couple years, and it has already been decided we will be heading back to Jason when that time comes. We are very excited to have found a car salesman we can trust. More
