Over the years, John would contact me and we continued to stay in touch. He made me feel comfortable and confident that I would find the car that would meet all of my needs. Two years later, I am the proud owner of a 2012 Camry XLE. John is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and patient and makes buying a car a pleasure. He is very reliable and always follows through with what he says he will do. In addition to John, James Welch, the sales manager was able to research the location of my car and was very insightful when discussing what I wanted in a car. Jim Higgins made the financing of my car easy and stress-free. Dennis Dawson, the technology man, was able to demonstrate how to use my new electronics and the intricacies of programming. I have been car shopping for a long time and always go back to Darcars of Frederick. My 1995 Toyota Corolla was retired with 311,614 reliable miles and lasted 16 years! I look forward to years of great service from my new Camry & Darcars. More
I had my car Toyota Echo, 2002 when I first bought it out by Fredericktown areas in 2002. Ever since, I purchased my first vehicle myself and love it since with no problems at all. When Fredericktown moved to Buckeystown areas for service, I still have no problems with my car and Jason who is only one very helpful, very patience, very friendly to help other customer, very well manner because He and I started having discuss with my vehicle since my vehicle is over 100 thousand miles. I came to see him for my car with light engine check on so he said no problems and will not charge it for. I was amazed, pleased with his attitude towards his customers. I am hearing impaired, he competely understood with NO attitude showing. It is really amazed how he is and work together with his customers. I would recommend to other friends and families to see him for their service needs. I would purchase my next new vehicle soon. More
I had visited 5 dealerships in the past 3 days and none were nearly as attentive to my wants and needs as Darcars of Frederick and Mr. Stephenson. He worked with me to find a replacement vehicle when two were nearly as attentive to my wants and needs as Darcars of Frederick and Mr. Stephenson. He worked with me to find a replacement vehicle when two Tacomas on the lot were already sold. He went the extra mile and drove to Westminster, Md. to retrieve a year newer truck with even more goodies than I had originally wanted, at very little additional cost. His sales manager, the F & I manager also worked hard with my F & I guy, Mike O'Brian to overcome some credit glitches and worked a truly acceptable deal. I am extremely please I made the stop in Frederick. It certainly won't be my last visit. Even the young man who cleaned-up the vehicle for delivery was very courteous and friendly, Regrettably, I do not remember his name, but he did tell me he had worked their for about 8 months. Chris was friendly and fun. He understood my car needs and we test drove a Corolla. It was a nice car but just nice. He then showed me the car on the showroom floor and my eyes lit up. The doors were opened and we drove off for a quick test drive. I love my new Toyota Corolla S. My followup visit for picking up my plates was fun and I ran into friends that I had recommended to check out the dealership. I was very pleased by the entire experience and can recommend Chris without hesitation. More
John and I developed a relationship about 4 years ago when I had visited the dealership with a sister who had bought a car. I told John, that I would be contacting him in next few months afterwards and k when I had visited the dealership with a sister who had bought a car. When I mad my decision to get another car, I called John and we set up an appointment. John was very professional and very positive during that car buying event. He went out of his way to insure that I received the very pricing and delivered me a 2009 Camry XLE well within my budget. At the time I didn't really want that car however, that's what I could afford at the time. I told John then that I would be back in about 4 years. Over that period, John maintain periodic contact with me primarily with regards to the Camry. At the beginning of 2011, I visited John and we chatted and I had indicated to him that perhaps later in this year I may be interested in Avalon. Well, I called John and we made an appointment and the deal for a 2011 Avalon was made. Because of John, I am a proud owner of very smart and intelligent vehicle. John's no pressure method of doing business is the main reason why I came back to Darcars and had he not been there I would have gone somewhere else and made this purchase. For the first time ever at a dealership I was attended to with prompt, professional as well as personable staff, in particular, Bill and Jesse. Starting with Jesse, I have never been before a salesperson th with prompt, professional as well as personable staff, in particular, Bill and Jesse. Starting with Jesse, I have never been before a salesperson that I was completely comfortable with and didn't feel any pressure what-so-ever. Jesse's has an excellent demeaner that I think is perfect for that type of work. Along with Bill, who was also extremely patient in explaining everything over and over until I completely understood. He was also very aware of my nervousness and put everything all into perspective. The whole experience was outstanding to include other employees that were right there when I need help with the coffee machine. I hope to have another opportunity in the future to do business with your dealership. More
Jesse was very friendly and treated us nicely. He did tell us that the Toyota Sienna XLE was unavailable with the entertainment package only. We were looking for a van with the entertainment package, bu tell us that the Toyota Sienna XLE was unavailable with the entertainment package only. We were looking for a van with the entertainment package, but not the premium package which is about a $4,000 difference in price. Overall, Jesse was great to work with. Sasan began our visit nicely. He did work well with me to get to a monthly payment level with which I was comfortable. His attitude changed completely when I told him I wanted to think overnight about his offer. He began pressuring us. He improved his offer to us. He called in the general manager. I was not at all ready to buy a van the night we went in for our visit. I simply wanted to test drive and get some payment options. Sasan acted as if he was personally offended that after all the work he did to get us a monthly payment we wanted I was going to think about the offer before commiting to spend the next few years paying money to this dealership. I got the impression that Sasan thought he knew what was best for my family than I did. I got the impression that Sasan was a little insulted that I wanted to consider the offer overnight before deciding to buy. I got the impression that Sasan was not confident in his offer and in his product and that he thought if I left the sale was not going to happen. This experience was not a good experience for me and my wife as we felt pressured and felt insulted because we were trying to make an informed and well-thought out decision. I will not be dealing with this dealership in the future and will not recommend this dealership to anyone. In the end, I bought a Toyota Sienna from another dealer. More
