I had fun! The whole new-car buying experience was an unexpected treat and began with a 20 mile demo drive. Throughout, I experience no pressure, no sales gimmick mumbo-jumbo, just a refreshing and genui unexpected treat and began with a 20 mile demo drive. Throughout, I experience no pressure, no sales gimmick mumbo-jumbo, just a refreshing and genuine forthrightedness that did not insult my intelligence or experience base. My sales associate, Jesse Torreyson, answered all of my questions in a friendly and direct manner - and if he didn't know the answer, he made the effort to find out rather than use the smoke-and-mirror routine commonly found at other dealerships. To answer some of my questions, we visited the Service Department. The guys there were truly helpful in making sure my questions were answered to my complete satisfaction and didn't treat me as if I was encroaching on their time or preventing them from doing their work. I put a down payment on the car I wanted to buy after the Sales Manager matched an internet price - with no haggle, mind you - I had received from another dealership. The next day, I received a coupon from the "other" dealership offering me another $750.00 below their best internet price. Having nothing to lose, I asked Darcars Toyota of Frederick if they would honor the coupon, even though I had already agreed to purchase. They did! With some quiet deliberation, of course, but with no hassle at all directed my way. Great stuff! The detail guys, William & Travis, meticulously cleaned and detailed the car - while I afforded the opportunity to watch through a glass window from the Finance office. Nice touch, Darcars creating that feature. The two were careful in their tasks and contributed immensely to the overall excellent treatment I received throughout my entire purchasing experience with Darcars. Since my purchase, Darcars has been thorough with timely follow-up on open issues that could not be concluded at the time of purchase. Bottom line, these guys are exceptional.
