The Most MONEY MINDED business people. There are a LOT OF TRICKS THEY PLAYED AT ME: True Story: I have gone to get a prius prime limited 2022 model on April 22 2022. Initially they will g There are a LOT OF TRICKS THEY PLAYED AT ME: True Story: I have gone to get a prius prime limited 2022 model on April 22 2022. Initially they will give you $5000 dealers price from MRSP online when you talk. But, when you go there they will give a sheet saying $7000 dealers price from MRSP. TRICK 1: (THIS IS A TRICK) and they will say the price has increased just today or yesterday but I will give you for $5000 dealers price. This is to make the customer buy their car asap. TRICK 2: When you say you want to lease the car. They will say lease is a bad option. THEY WILL GIVE YOU PRICE OF LEASING higher than normal(780/month). Generally lease will be on 50% of car. But they say it varies it will for 60-70%. They din't say on what factors it will depend though you asked them. I asked whether it it depends on credit score and they said no. They just say it depends on the system. I still dont understand what factors the residual percentage depends on. They want us to Finance the car but not lease it so they can get profit of selling it. OPINION: They should explain this properly to customers. What factors the percentage depends on and other stuff. TRICK 3: They will use the "TAX CREDIT TRICK". They will say the Federal TAX credit is phasing out this year, though it still has time till next year(2023) from what I saw Online. OPINION: If what they say is true they should show these references immediately in the systems they have in front of them. TRICK 4: They say they are the best and others are all fraud and liars. Other wont provide the cars on time and they just collect the money. OPINION: You should show references online on what you say. (Like lease, tax credit and selling stuff on time). Only desperate people who need a car immediately will want to go to them on these situations. It's not worth going to them unless you want to spend high. Trust me, I had enough experience of talking to them and other dealers. They will also charge you 2% SALES COMMISSION other than the $5000-7000 dealers price. I understand this is a business but increasing prices to high extent day by day is not fair. BEST: I went to JIM COLEMAN Toyota. They charge you $2500 dealers price from MRSP and NO SALES COMMISSION. When I talked to them they didn't use these kind of tricks, especially the price will be increasing day by day(ex: shift from 5k to 7k). They talk finely and firmly. I guess that is the reason their cars sell out much faster than any other dealers. More

my family was very loyal to the Toyota brand. Over the years we've bought/ financed many cars from the Maryland silver spring location but our last years purchased has haunted us everyday after signing on years we've bought/ financed many cars from the Maryland silver spring location but our last years purchased has haunted us everyday after signing on the dotted lines. Darcars & Radhi the sales manager sold us a stolen car. The temporary tags are now expired, the police has contacted us, and the department of motor vehicle has no records of the vehicle in their database. The SUV was purchased and financed through Toyota financial. We've tried many ways to resolve the problem but Darcars and the general manager has turnt a blind eye in hopes of sweeping the tarnished contract under the rug. Now we pay $707 a month for a suv that we can't drive. Don't ever buy from Darcars! More

The fellow who checked in my car in the service bay reminded me of a traffic cop who has just pulled me over -- his unfriendly manner at 7 in the morning made it worse for any customer who has gotten up early to have the early-bird service. Then came the guy who wrote up the ticket inside. He seemed hating his job. When my car was ready he slid me my key fob and said, "Your car's been serviced." I was expecting him telling me where my car was; he simply said, "Out front." I went out and eventually found it, first looking for a RAV4 of white color then clicking my key fob to see if any of them blinked. Good walking exercise. Thanks to our marvellous, overly friendly service fellows at DAR Toyota on Cherry Hill Road. More
They’ve got some nice guys working there, but I can not recommend taking your business to DARCARS Toyota in Silver Spring. I had a vehicle reserved and when it came in it was sold to another customer. But they are willing to offer the same deal on a different vehicle. That’s awfully generous of them… Because I am in a situation where I need a vehicle, I was willing to pay a premium. They have a Market Adjustment added to MSRP, and an additional 2% on top of that. I was able to negotiate on some of that, which leads me to believe that the other customer paid more than I was willing to. They try to sell overpriced packages and warranties that you can get much cheaper from other dealerships if you do a little research. Just an overall poor experience dealing with this dealership and would never do business with them if they didn’t have the exact vehicle I was looking for. More
