In July I had the great fortune to work with and purchase a car from Ricky at Darcars. Outstanding experience. Went to DARCARS because we had a referral from our Credit Union’s auto program. Spent 2 hours with Crystal Smith, our sales rep, and left with a 2012 Camry LE for about $3000 below referral from our Credit Union’s auto program. Spent 2 hours with Crystal Smith, our sales rep, and left with a 2012 Camry LE for about $3000 below MSRP. Sales rep communicated well without pushing and we got what we wanted at a great price. This was the fifth new car I have purchased in my life but this was the first time I did not feel that I had been taken. More
I was apprehensive going into the dealership because their pricing was much better than competing dealers in the area, so I was girding myself for a bait-and-switch. To my delight, the pricing provided their pricing was much better than competing dealers in the area, so I was girding myself for a bait-and-switch. To my delight, the pricing provided entirely over the phone / Internet was exactly as we agreed, the car color exactly what I wanted and the buying experience fairly painless (full disclosure, I despise the car buying process in general, so I will never say it is great to buy a car). I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend. More

I’m making this entry to assist DARCARS in the future. I did a lot of research before committing to using DARCARS for your exemplary service ratings. I would like to agree with the many people who rated yo did a lot of research before committing to using DARCARS for your exemplary service ratings. I would like to agree with the many people who rated your Service Department so highly. I cannot. I couldn't even get through to anyone in the Service Department to schedule maintenance on my vehicle. I called four times. My first two calls were directed to the Service Department by an operator who spoke so poorly as to leave doubt in my mind that I got the right company. After lengthy rings and hold periods, the line was picked up and cut off (both times). My third call was received by an operator who at least had good diction, but she sent me to a gentleman named Daniel who said he needed to, “direct my call to the right place.” I would have thought the operator had done that. Anyhow, he kindly forwarded me to the Service Department, but a short time later he picked up again stating, “They must be busy.” He tried again, and sure enough, the line was picked up, and immediately disconnected. On my fourth call, I asked to speak to a manager to explain why I wouldn't drive an hour to DARCARS even though the company has a sparkling service reputation. I suggested to the operator that I wanted to speak to someone with authority over the Service Department, or that I would make this Internet write-up. She routed my call, and it sounded like the call was call-forwarded at least twice, and then it just rang. No one picked up, not even the operator who knew I was dissatisfied. I understand that a manager might not be readily available, but I decided I'd had enough at that point. My second choice for Toyota service in Maryland, 355 Toyota Scion, will get my business even though it will add another ten minutes of driving time. I hope this entry helps you get your Service Department phone answering process straightened out. More
Chris gave a great first impression by his great smile and helpfulness when we sent our 2 hail damaged cars to the Darcar's body shop. After the recent hail storm (August 18th) with hail sized larger than a golf ball, both of our cars sustained sizeable dents on every panel of each car. I noticed that DARCARS auto body was listed as a State larger than a golf ball, both of our cars sustained sizeable dents on every panel of each car. I noticed that DARCARS auto body was listed as a StateFarm Select Service partner, and I dropped off both cars at the dealership. Both of my cars were assigned to Chris Noell, and he handled everything with StateFarm throughout the entire process. More importantly, my cars were never passed off to another representative, and Chris was always there to answer any questions regarding the repairs (paintless dent repair) and the timing of the repairs. Chris' service was excellent, and I highly recommend this body shop. More
