This was my first visit to DCH Brunswick Toyota. I found the website online two nights ago. I am familiar with the DCH dealership organization as my last car (Honda CRV EXL) was leased from DCH Honda in Ea the website online two nights ago. I am familiar with the DCH dealership organization as my last car (Honda CRV EXL) was leased from DCH Honda in Eatontown. I was looking for a more fuel efficient car and had done quite a bit of research online regarding the cars I was interested in and visited a couple of dealers prior to coming to DCH Toyota. I was initially impressed by the chat function online when I was able to chat with a live person ... and not be bombarded with phone calls. Alyssa connected me to Robert Belpedio, the Internet Sales Manager, via email. He in turn introduced me to Ray Medina, the Sales Consultant, when I arrived at the dealership the following day. Jason Cohen, the Sales Manager, then joined us later in the process. Ray Medina far exceeded my expectations of a sales consultant as I do not respond well to pushy car sales consultants. But Ray was special. He was both knowledgeable about the cars (RAV4 and Prius) in which I was interested and patient. He listened to my needs, took the time in letting me test drive three cars while telling me more about the cars I drove. He was credible, friendly and upfront with the numbers as I had a limit in mind. He was not pushy and made me feel comfortable by providing me the information I requested so I could be comfortable with making an informed decision. Ray showed a genuine interest in his job (of matching the right car with the right individual) and in this prospect who quickly became his customer. I was not expecting to drive out with a new car ... but I did last night. Ray also took the time to help me transfer everything from my CRV to the Prius and then showed me all the bells and whistles in the Prius that I am now leasing. He promised to show me more whenever I needed his assistance. I am counting on this. Being a marketing professional, building a long-term customer relationship is key to repeat sales and referrals. Driving a brand new Prius with fancy new buttons to push and in the darkness of night was a bit unnerving but I made it home fine ... with a slight detour. The navigation system led me the long way home but was most intelligent as it led me past my favorite KFC for a quick bite as I had not eaten all day. So, it was a good sign that we will get along fine. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, except for one area ... PS: The Ladies' Room was not well maintained at all. It needs immediate attention. More
My wife and daughter spent the day shopping for a used car for my daughter. They visited numerous dealerships and meet with a good number of pushy impatient salesmen. When I got off work, I asked her where they wanted to go for a second look. She told me that DHC Toyota had 2 or 3 cars that my daughter liked and that Ray Medina was really the only salesman she cared to see again. After we arrived at DHC, Ray again showed us the cars she was interested in. We never felt pushed us to any perticular car or rushed. He didn't try to nudge us out of our price range as other dealers did. He gave Honda and Ford as much praise as the Toyota. I felt that he knew we were making a expensive purchase and we needed to get it right for our own sake. When WE decieded to actually start talkng price on one of the Corollas, his manager Alan Carter introduced himself and again made us feel very comfortable during this process. It was the end of the evening and we made a "gentlmens" agreement on the Corolla. No money was put down to hold the vehicle yet it was treated as sold untill I was able to return the next evening to continue negotiations. The next evening we returned, Ray had all the paper work ready, we told Ray and Alan we weren't happy with our trade value and they were willing to move enought to make a deal work. When all was said and done I felt like I was more concerned with getting a deal done then they were. I have purchased Honda cars in the past and been very happy with them. This is my first Toyota purchase and the relationship is off to a great start. I totally recommend this dealership and Ray. I also feel that Alan has his group of salespeople trained to help their customers make decision that are right for the customer without feeling pressured, so if Ray's busy you would still be in good hands. More
I visited Ray's dealership to get a Sienna. My wife and I are expecting our second and we need a bigger car. It really wasn't in my plan to have to be buying another one so soon, but with the 0% offer goin I are expecting our second and we need a bigger car. So I was already going into the dealership basically ready to do battle. Totally wasn't necessary. Ray is just a regular guy, took me off guard in fact. I can't say enough good things about him. First time we walked in he came up after 10 minutes or so, gave us useful information. Any time we wanted to look at something he was on it, this man is a hard worker in the the classical sense. He was respectful to me and my pregnant wife which is a big deal to me. When we had to leave the first time we were there to go look at another dealer (was our first day out car shopping) we got no static walking out the door. He must have known we would be back. We were, and I put some numbers down for him, I had done some research and was asking for a pretty aggressive dealer. When your wife is pregnant, all your friends wives are too and everybody knows what everybody is getting a minivan for. So I gave him the deal, he didn't flinch, pretty much said yes. After we closed the deal we had realized there was a miscommunication about an accessory set of floor mats (100 dollar item or so). Called up Ray and he made it right. He actually had to buy them for us. He knows our business is worth more than that. You will NOT be getting this treatment from other people in the business. I expected car buying to be like those stories you hear where you're haggling over 1000 dollars for 4 hours and you're not going to be the sucker etc. Maybe it is like that someplace else, but with Ray things were really easy. The guy lives 1.5 hours away from me and I'll be back to him for my next car. More

He was straight forward and was very informative and had no issues with pricing over the internet. Most dealers wont "talk" prices online but not Mr Larry! I love the way they treat you here. It is refreshing to find a dealership that does not play stupid games with the consumer. I went to other dealerships,played their games and DCH is the best by far. No games,No gimmicks,No tricks,No bogus "add on fees", The price was inline and all I paid was NJ Tax,my DMV fees and a very reasonable documentation fee for the title and papperwork. NOTHING ELSE. very pleasent and I will be making this my GO TO dealer..I recommend DCH do your homework,do your research and then go to DCH-you will see what I am talking about..I also check them out on dealerrater.com before I even considered them. I walked into this dealership twice, and on both occurrences was treated with friendliness and respect. First I came to the dealership to test drive the Rav4, which I immediately loved. Edmund showed me the ins-and-outs of the vehicle, and everything was done professionally and efficiently. The next time I came in was to buy my new Rav4! Alan had everything ready to go; of course my father and I had to fill out paperwork and sign a check, but the process took no more than 40 minutes. Hamza showed me to my new car, and that was that! I endured no waiting around, or miscommunications. Alan had the car that I wanted in the color and make within 2 days of me test driving the Rav, and he sold it to me at a great price. I couldn't have been more happy with my experience at DCH Brunswick Toyota! More
I HATE buying cars. Last year I got so aggravated that I ended up purchasing a car I didn't like or want. This time I went to DCH Toyota. What a good choice that was. From the start Rafael was accommodating and patient. He didn't push, was willing to let me drive anything that caught my eye and carefully explained the pros and cons to each car and the incentives etc. I ended up falling in love with a plug-in Prius and I couldn't be happier. Rafael was amazing, but so was everybody else here. Even the finance guy was great. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More

I am the first admit that I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to car shopping. I find it a chore. During our first visit, Alan spent a great deal of time asking what type of car we wanted to lease, what features we were looking for, and when we wanted to lease the car. He also took the time to take us on a test drive. We left feeling very good about our options. We did our due diligence and looked at other cars before making a commitment. It was a no a brainer. We knew we wanted a Toyota. My first car in college that I leased was a Toyota Corolla and I drove it for 12 years before purchasing another vehicle. I knew the value I was getting with choosing a Toyota. Our second visit to the dealership ended with us driving off in a 2012 Camry XLE. From the minute we walked back into the dealership, Alan made us feel at home and set us up with Ray Medina. Ray spent a great deal of time reviewing all the features of the Camry and was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. Once all the paperwork was done and the car detailed, Ray took the time to sync our phones for use in the car and went over every feature of the different apps and available technologies. The follow day Ray called to congratulate us on our new car and to see if we had any questions. I love my Toyota Camry XLE and will recommend this dealership and Alan and Ray to all of my friends and family. Sincerely, Eileen More
