My girlfriends daughter wwas upset and crying most of the day for wasting 4 hours at a car dealer on saturday. I contacted this dealer about a 2012 mustang forsale on the internet. They claimed that they didnt have this anymore but he had several other 2012 and 2013 mustangs forsale. I was interested in a 2012 because of the large factory rebates and the fact that the 2013s are hitting the lots. I told him I was honestly looking to spend 25-26k on a mustang gt after rebates and incentives. The salesman informed me that he could work that price on either a 2012 or a 2013. so, i got realy excited about buying a mustang and drove the 40 miles one way to the dealership. It took about 2 hours to get the first set of numbers, he wouldnt go below 30k for the mustang(that is obviously really close to 25 or 26k!) and he low balled my trade by 35%. I then informed him the least amount i would take for my trade in and I raised how much i would pay for the car to 27k. This didnt work and after 30 minutes i asked for my keys from my trade in. I had to ask 3 times for them and they kept me there another 40 minutes for me waiting for my keys to leave. My girlfriends daughter was sad/crying the rest of the day because we wasted 4 hours of her saturday at this dealer. the salesman was very nice and polite the whole time, but he should never have promised something over the phone that he couldnt deliever. I was extremely clear and concise with what i wanted and what i wanted to pay...the only variable was my trade in, which i knew. I gave 1 star because they misleaded me on the price, i had to keep asking for my keys and my girlfriends daughter was crying later on in the day because we wasted her saturday. More
