The reason why I would recommend Kay Honda is mainly because of customer service. Evelyn Wallis as the seller did an excellent job. First, I felt comfortable with DCH Kay as an organization overall. She kept me informed as I was sent to Nebraska while awaiting delivery. When I had a small opportunity to come in and handle the financing, Chris in Finance did an excellent job and explained various options without pressuring me. I took an 80,000 mile extended warranty. I'm very satisfied that this was the right choice for me. Jason arranged delivery while I was there which I appreciated. Later, Ms. Wallis filled me in on the details of what exactly my package contained and answered the questions that had formed during the week. She took the time for small things like setting my car's clock and a few other details. Had Ms Wallis not been as professional as was the case, I had several dealerships promising me car deals via the internet and phone before I came in and sat with her. Thanks, everyone. More

Evelyn Wallis is one of the nicest sales people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Evelyn never once gave me the impression that she was a car salesperson, but rather the impression of buying ever had the pleasure of working with. Evelyn never once gave me the impression that she was a car salesperson, but rather the impression of buying from a friend who tries to get you the best deal possible and is going out of her way to make you feel completely comfortable with your buying decision. My only problem with my buying experience was my trade in experience. I knew what ballpark figure of my trade was and Bill came in more $800 less than value and $600 less than what we were asking. According to Kelley Blue Book the value of my trade was under the trade in option, not private sale, was over $2200. I wanted $2,000. My trade did have high miles, but did have a new engine, cooling system, water pump, and many others. Bill was unwilling to budge and I was not willing to take such a big loss in the value of my trade with all the repairs I had made to it. I was forced to walk out on the deal until Bill chased me down and offered a fraction more. We finally met at $1,800. Which is considerably less than they are going to get when the strip it down for parts or detail it and sell it. I hope never to have to do business with Bill again. He played the typical salesman game and I didn't appreciate it, not with the honesty of Evelyn and everyone else I dealt with a DCH Kay Honda. The finance department was also great to work with. During our initial credit check, I was told my credit score would not get me the special Honda financing of 2.9% because Honda required a 710 score and I had a 680. Then I found out the finance department worked it out and I did get the special 2.9% rate without a cosigner. With the exception of the aforementioned trade in, my experience at DCH Kay Honda was tremendous. I would highly recommend their dealership and Evelyn Wallis. But everyone else was wonderful to work with at DCH Kay Honda. More

For me, I opted out of the extended warranty, lojack, credit protection, and other options and just went with the Honda's 36-mos 1.99% APR financing special. Chris didn't haggle or pressure me to add-on other options I wasn't interested in, so it made it a pleasant, pressure-free, and not awkward experience. He's also friendly and has a great sense of humor. More
