Used vehicle for the price of a New I wanted to buy a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid 82k Miles. Asking price $7000. Documents fee with everything handled by the buyer $300. Final price $8600+. I wanted to buy a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid 82k Miles. Asking price $7000. Documents fee with everything handled by the buyer $300. Final price $8600+. Stock Number (MA190636A). I spoke with Christian, Jeremy and Anthony. Conversations with Christian and Jeremy weren’t too detailed. I asked about the car and they provided the information. I asked for their best selling price so I was referred to their Manager Anthony. Getting in touch with Anthony took a few days because I wasn’t available when he had called. Finally when I spoke with him regarding the car, he gave me a total price of over $8600 and presented it to be the best car out there. Arguably this car has only 82K miles and seems to be in OK condition. It’s a 11 year old vehicle with 82K miles but has 3 major accidents in the short times it was driving. Anthony seems to be living in a different world when he is pricing these cars and even negotiating the price. He thinks this 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid with 82K miles but worn out a lot with 3 major accidents is a steal for $8600+. I didn’t have any other choice but to laugh. He also told me that i would never find a car like this anywhere else for this cheap. Lol. Of course I won’t. Most of the other people are selling same cars like this for less than $5500. After that Anthony wanted to charge me $600 for processing fee because they had to sell the car and process the paperwork. I am paying cash for the car so Anthony informed me that he can Split the $600 fee with me if I did my own title transfer, got my own plates, processed and paid taxes on my own and got the car inspected by myself. All he was going to do was sign the title and give it to me and charge me $300. I am thinking that this guy is the funniest guy in the world. He shouldn’t be a used car salesman. He will make more money by being a standup comedian. I had to tell him the reality for the car and told him to keep his car. Disconnected the call after getting your information. This is the conversation/experience I had with people at this dealership. More
