I purchased a 2014 Toyota Rav4 Limited from DAHL Hyundai Mazda Subaru in Lacrosse Wisconsin in May 2025. It had around 113,600 miles at the time and although it had just arrived on the lot, an inspection wa Mazda Subaru in Lacrosse Wisconsin in May 2025. After buying the vehicle, I took it back to DAHL when it was time for an oil change as I was given a few free changes. The vehicle now has around 122,000 miles. At the beginning of 2026 the Rav began misfiring and stalling (even turning off while driving) in addition to a loud engine noise especially when starting. I brought it to DAHL service and was told I was going to need the timing chain and/or engine replaced which would cost $6000-$8000. I also was given the option of trade in but the value offered for the vehicle was only going to be $4500. I still have just under $5000 to pay on my loan and already have paid $15k+ on the vehicle. Deciding a second opinion would be best, I had my vehicle towed to a smaller repair shop in Lacrosse. Without even a deep inspection the immediately affirmed I had correctly concluded the need to replace the entire engine and timing chain was not necessary (especially at such low mileage for a Toyota). Based off their diagnostics, including the code readings, they replaced the solenoids and cam gear. The vehicle was running well but after only a few days once again, started misfiring and stalling. I had to get jumped to even get it back to the shop which is only a few miles away. The shop again did the code readings and also tested the oil pressure and it was very off, so it was deemed best to do a change. When accessing the oil components, they found the center post that goes through the filter was missing. This means that DAHL who changed my oil previously, left the post in the filter housing which caused all the issues. After putting in the new cup the pressure was back to normal and the vehicle ran perfectly, again proving the missing post in the housing was the overall problem. Since having the Rav returned to me, I have not had any further issues. All in all, the work done (replacing solenoids, cam gear, oil filter/cup and oil change) cost me about a $1000. All due to DAHL messing up a simple oil change! I have all the paperwork, the actual filter showing the missing center post, and word of testament from the smaller shop. Besides messing the oil change up by misplacing the center post of the filter, DAHL also lost my coolant reservoir cap! I was told I "needed a new one" when I had my vehicle looked at but the thing is, it was there when I bought the vehicle and no one but DAHL has done maintenance on the Rav so again, they misplaced a simple component! I will never recommend DAHL service to anyone nor will I return there. Quite frankly, I should be compensated because there was no reason I had to spend all this money and go through all this trouble! Although I enjoyed my initial experience when I purchased the vehicle, my dealings with DAHL are most definitely going to be continually impacted by this extremely negative and costly service ordeal. More
Girlfriend purchased a brand new mazda cx5 last labor day weekend. Had an oil change and tire rotation done a few months ago. 2 of the rims were damaged during service. Dahl offered a 300.00 credit to be use weekend. Had an oil change and tire rotation done a few months ago. 2 of the rims were damaged during service. Dahl offered a 300.00 credit to be used at their dealership. 2 brand new rims cost 600.00 a piece. I would not recommend service work done here. More
My order of trailer hitch and electrical wiring for the hitc It took 2 * calling and asking them to order the specific trailer hitch and wiring for my car to get the hitch. So it took 2 days to install all of this. I'm sure the installation went fine and a couple other things they did to my Ford Flex went well. But I was really discouraged that I had to call twice to get the ordering done and they still didn't order one of the items. More

I feel all the employees that work here are extremely professional and appear to like their jobs as they treat everyone who walks in the door with courtesy and concern. Not only do I love my Subaru Outback but I will purchase my next one here as they make it such a pleasant experience. Kudos to each and everyone of the Dahl employees !!!! More

The loner vehicle was a clean nearly new Elantra with 150 miles on it. Nice. We can only assume that our Genesis recieved the same high level of service demonstrated by these trappings, If this be so, we will indeed be "happy campers" with the balance of our Genesis provided service. Worst service/repair experience ever Please be aware of the service this dealership provides. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. I made a appointment with them for an oil change and I had a transmission leak . The vehicle was still under warranty. When I picked up the vehicle that told me "yes" you have a trani leak but we can"t fix it. They referred me to another dealer. I asked them why then did they not tell me that they were unable to repair a trani at the time I made the appointment. Their response was they didn't have enough clearance height in the shop. I went home and got more furious and called the service writer back and left a message and I also texted her. The next day I still had not received a response so I called them again and spoke with the asst. service manager who promised me he would investigate and get back with me by Friday. He did not so I call the Ford company and it looks like I am getting this resolved with them. Beware, they are nice enough until an issue comes up and then you get no response and no help from them. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Truck in before 8 am it's now 10:32 for an oil change and tire rotation. Not ready yet. They say they put it in the wrong lift wow 0 confidence in this place. Update.... 1040 almost 3 hrs. Supposedly checked alignment..it was good funny last oil check I had serious problems that needed addressing. Did they look this time or were they trying to screw me last time??? Checked air pressure in tires all were 60# problem is the tires say they should be 80# told them I was going on a trip had 5th wheel hitch in box. Did they even do the oil change??? First it took so long because they put it on the wrong hoist then they had someone call in sick. Absolutely last time I'll go there even though I have the extended warranty Brenengen here I come More
