Little to no communication on the status of my car when I brought it in for servicing. Multiple times I asked for an estimate of when the work will be done and every time I was told a date that did not actua brought it in for servicing. Multiple times I asked for an estimate of when the work will be done and every time I was told a date that did not actually happen. Then finally when I got the car back, the issues are still there. So I didn't have my car for a week and got it back with issues unresolved and it smells like motor oil now. More

Went to the Service Department at this dealership first time with my 2024 Ram 3500, Robert took care of me,24000 miles with a message on the dashboard “Exhaust System Service Required see dealership” Afte time with my 2024 Ram 3500, Robert took care of me,24000 miles with a message on the dashboard “Exhaust System Service Required see dealership” After 3 days I was told fuel filters need to be replaced cause they were too dirty, and they showed me a picture, filters had at that time around 5000 miles, and also they said was imperative for better results do a regeneration of the Catalyst Converters, they also mentioned that time “is better if we make a diesel tank cleaning service cause is probably, and I remark “probably”the tank is dirty. I couldn’t believe was dirty cause is a new Truck and I refill it in the same place I refill my others 2 trucks and 3 Cargo Van (all Ram). Since the price for that “probably” dirty diesel tank cleaning service was something insane, I decided don’t do it. I have to say that as I have more trucks and experience I told them, “ you are missing something here, we need to know the reason why this is happening, cause I have another truck same engine and everything and 9000 miles after filters looks the same they showed me and this doesn’t happen to that truck, they insist, it might be on “our experience” dirty tank. $1450 the cost this time. I started roling and 4800 miles after, same message went out and same thing, truck with no power when hauling. I came back to the dealership and I was told filters are dirty and tank must be taken down and cleaned with the insane price of $3000. I came to the dealership to discuss that and spoke to the director, I did only one question, “ how do you know filters are so dirty to affirm tanks needs to be cleaned?” They said we haven’t see them cause if we perform that we are not gonna be able to put them back cause of the rings and bla bla, I said “ take them off and check1st question, how can they do a right diagnostic just based on the experience? Second, who asked me for authorization for replace filters this second time with a cost of 450?. Why the refused all the time in using the warranty I pay for on that truck? Why they need to perform the same if the problem persist? Why do I have to pay for them take the diesel tank down to see if that is the problem? What if they take it down and notice that’s not the problem? Why do I have to pay $ 4500 in total for them to understand that something else is causing this? What’s gonna happen when they take the tank down and the same thing happen cause this is not the source of that problem? Would they show me that is not the dirty tank is causing this? No, they won’t, they will say, “tank was so dirty” and I will have to come back with the same problem with all the espenses that take with. And you know what? Today to take it out of the dealership I had to pay 670 dollars due to the fuel filters replacement(which they did last time and didn’t work)!and 200 more dollars for the DIAGNOSTIC, which diagnostic? Just guessing on “their experience” the diagnostic list: injection system cleaning, diesel tank cleaning, regen of the Catalytics (a lot of money, might be around $4600 ). Then guys this have been managed in a killer way for customer, and I don’t wanna say I am the best customer but I have 5 RAM brand equipments. Then, last thing, I talked to a technician in another dealership and he bid his life, what’s causing this is the DEF injector not working properly, I am gonna take the risk will go to that dealership, (cause I am masochistic) and will show you the results. Any ways, in general at the dealership they always try to make and make more money, but this place went far. My experience here, really bad, conclusion, at least technician not real technician, that’s the minimum, if you allow me guess like they have been doing in this case, trying to make more money in honor at “the process “ the director mentioned in the conversation we had. Polites and good manners oh yes they all have that but in my opinion that is not something to remark, is just how it must be. More
I’ve given this dealership’s service dept. several chances because I live so close. Each time I’ve been disappointed. My first experience was a simple oil and filter change. I picked up the tr several chances because I live so close. Each time I’ve been disappointed. My first experience was a simple oil and filter change. I picked up the truck, brought it home and parked it in the driveway. The next day I awoke to a giant oil stain on my concrete. The technician either started to change the oil or didn’t tighten the drain plug afterward. They told me to bring it back and they would change it again. So I purchased 4 quarts at the auto parts store to get it to register on the dipstick and took it back. They were nice enough not to charge me the second time. The other problem I have is their lack of communication. Your service rep sends you a text when you drop it off that says if you have any questions while your vehicle is being repaired to just text them. I’ve had it in on three occasions and texted multiple times each visit and never received a response. You only get a phone call when it’s ready. More

Salvador handled my situation in a very professionally, and l could tell he has a love for his customers. I brought my vehicle in at 7:00 am on Friday, June 13, 2025 and was before 9:00 am . These are attributes which makes Sosa a cut above the average service advisor, and Dollas Dodge should be grateful to have him as a part of their team. Thanks Salvador for such great service.
