I went in for a routine 60k tuneup @ $950. Within 10 minutes I was pushed with additional repairs totaled up to $2200. My car is @ 63 k miles after7 years, less than 10k/year. I had 30k mainte Within 10 minutes I was pushed with additional repairs totaled up to $2200. My car is @ 63 k miles after7 years, less than 10k/year. I had 30k maintenance with them, and went oil changes every 5k as recommended, then last year I had 4 new tires. Yesterday I felt that my outback is felling apart. My tire pressure sensors are bad and need a major brake work. I had to trim down to keep the maintenance to $1700. I won’t say that they oversold me on maintenance, because they are experts. I had a Nissan Murano, which I traded in with 180k on it. After the service I don’t think my outback will carry me as far. I bought my outback after watching the commercial, it will take care of you every stage of your life, which was very touching. And I didn’t have such heavy maintenance with my Nissan at the same mileage. This will be my first and last Subaru. After $1710 maintenance, I didn’t even get a courtesy car wash.
