Deserved or not, those are the stereotypes that pop into my head. Steve is none of those things. In fact, if you want the anti-salesman, then you've come to the right place. My husband is an engineer and researches the heck out everything he buys, cars in particular. So you'd better believe he had a spreadsheet and all his ducks in order before heading in to the dealership, ready to do battle. He met his match in Steve, who was above board, honest, and charmed the pants off of him. He was up front about everything, from positives to negatives, which really helped to convince us that he had our best interests at heart. He also went above and beyond to accommodate our weird requests (even picking me up at the train station well before his day was supposed to begin - thanks again Steve you know I appreciate it!) The only drawback I can see is he's going to give salesmen a good name, and then what will we have to complain about? Because I certainly can't complain about my new car - not the price, or the experience of acquiring it (shout out to George in finance, and the parts guys too). More

Stopped in without appointment and helped immediately! I suddenly began having trouble with the Information Display LCD screen on my 2014 Forester becoming too dark to see. I tried checking the manual with I suddenly began having trouble with the Information Display LCD screen on my 2014 Forester becoming too dark to see. I tried checking the manual with no luck, then called the Subaru Customer Service number, but the rep was unable to assist and directed me to my dealership. I dropped by Dan Perkins service department unscheduled this morning and was greeted by David Ortiz, Senior Service Advisor. David immediately came out to my car and began troubleshooting the issue. After a few minutes of adjusting the control paddles on the steering wheel, he was able to locate the setting that corresponded with the info display screen brightness. I must have somehow accidentally changed it without knowing. David fixed the problem and instructed me on how to get back there, should the situation recur. He provided outstanding support and definitely reinforced my satisfaction with Dan Perkins Subaru. We're on our 3rd Subaru from there, by the way, and plan to maintain our patronage. Thanks again David! More

Joss Brenner (online sales) and Tony Setaro (sales) negotiated a very fair deal including my trade-in with just a couple back-and-forth texts and a single phone call.
