I am a resident of New York and have been a member of the Subaru community since 19 96. Needless to say I have purchased a number of Subarus. Usually I purchase my Subarus through a local dealership in New York. Unfortunately they were unable to meet my needs this time around. Fortunately I was able to find the vehicle of my choice at Dan Perkins Subaru in Milford Connecticut. From my first call to the dealershipto my physically picking up the car and walking out of the showroom I have never had such a stress-free and pleasant experience. Approximately 90% of the buying process was done over the phone with the outstanding assistance from Freddie O'Malley. He knows his job, he's well informed, he is very efficient, he met every request that I made in terms of the start to finish process of purchasing my first vehicle via phone in another state. In this day and age I would consider him a rarity. I also had the pleasure of meeting Nick in the finance area and he did an excellent job. I should note that never during the whole buying process and including my time with Nick was there ever any pressure in terms of buying any other services or options or other xx that you normally experience when you're finalizing a purchase of an automobile. One other point the Dan Perkins dealership is a new facility that is really well done. It is the largest Subaru dealer that I have ever dealt with and they had more cars than I have ever seen in one location. Most of my friends have at least one Subaru and I would certainly recommend that they look to Dan Perkins Subaru for future purchases. More
Service Dept. is outstanding!!! The day before we were to leave on a drive to visit out of town family our horn stopped working - not even a squeak. Our local Su is outstanding!!! The day before we were to leave on a drive to visit out of town family our horn stopped working - not even a squeak. Our local Subaru Service Dept. said there was no way they could fit us in. Rent a car? Cancel trip? Dan Perkin's Service Dept. saved the day!!! Customer Service Rep. Diana was able to schedule us in that morning to diagnose the problem. Brought car in and was also able to get to my previously scheduled appointment with my specialist because I was given a loaner!!! Diagnosis made, part in stock, we had our car back by early afternoon!!! (In the process of diagnosing the problem with our horn, the technician noted our heat shield was loose (we had an oil change earlier in that week at a different Subaru Service Dept. - shame on them); the heat shield was tightened before our car was returned to us! Thank You Diana and Dan Perkins Service Dept..!!! We highly recommend Dan Perkins' Service Dept. for the next time you need service for your Subaru!!!! More
Never had a better experience car buying than I did with Elmer Guerra. (I usually hate the whole process, if I'm buying honest.) Elmer knows his stuff, is accommodating, and, most important, doesn't push a Elmer Guerra. (I usually hate the whole process, if I'm buying honest.) I brought my wife's Crosstrek in for a minor repair, earlier this week.. David Ortiz had me take the car directly into the main service garage. He then brought out Gary - a mechanic, to look at the da earlier this week.. David Ortiz had me take the car directly into the main service garage. He then brought out Gary - a mechanic, to look at the damage and determine if it could be fixed. Gary looked at the car, and determined that it could be fixed without much trouble. He then proceeded to fix the parts, bringing in some plastic parts, In no time, the car was repaired. When I asked David Ortiz what the charge was - he stated - no charge - on the house. This is an example of pure customer service!!!! Thanks David and Gary!!! More

When I traded in my 2014 Subaru Forester, I was helped by Steve Savo of the Sales Department. I told Steve what I was looking for in a car, and he took the time to show me multiple used vehicles. I selected Steve Savo of the Sales Department. I told Steve what I was looking for in a car, and he took the time to show me multiple used vehicles. I selected a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, and then he assisted me in finalizing the deal (along with assistance from George Irizarry - Finance Dept.). I drove out with the vehicle the same day.
