Normally Exceptional Service until my last visit I'm not sure if this is an anomaly but my last service appointment required that I return to the dealership twice because of problems which developed I'm not sure if this is an anomaly but my last service appointment required that I return to the dealership twice because of problems which developed after the appointment. I responded to the service offer of oil change, tire rotation, wiper blade refills replacement, safety check, and alignment check. All went well initially. The alignment check is impressive! The computer analysis appears to be very accurate and thorough. The service department is professional and I am always treated with courtesy and respect. The service advisors are easy to work with and exceptionally helpful answering any questions I usually have. They tend to educate me about my automobile... great! Free car washes with every visit and free state inspections.... simply superb. Now about my 2 return trips following my last service appointment. 1) I did not make it 1 mile from the dealership before I noticed a low tire pressure warning presenting on my instrument console. I immediately turned around and drove back. I was told that when a tire rotation is performed, the tire pressure monitoring system must be reset or a false warning will be indicated. The thought was that this reset was not performed by the technician. 2) My wipers were replaced due to age (2 years) but they still performed well, no streaks, sqweaks, cleared just like new. The blade refills were installed. A couple days following my service appointment I needed to use the wipers and the one on the driver side left streaks which did not impress me at all. Yesterday we had a driving rain and wind, I was so upset during my lunch break about the wiper performance that I drove to the dealership to get this fixed immediately. Upon examination of the blade insert revealed that it was not seated correctly. This was never a problem before the service, even with the old parts. I can't say for certain that I originally left the dealership with the blade misaligned because they are retracted out of view when not in use. But I can report that the streaking was noticed immediately and got progressively worse. I asked that the insert be replaced to give me assurance that the blade would make continuous even contact with the windshield. My service advisor was happy to oblige. More
