Recently we purchase a new Honda Odyssey and our salesperson was Craig Newport. We were very impressed with him. He was very informative and we never felt pressured. The entire atmosphere of St. Louis Honda was enjoyable. We had not intended to purchase the first vehicle we looked at. Our son told us we needed to look at an Odyssey because that is what he drives so we decided to check it out before looking at a Chrysler town and country van because of a TV commercial.We really intended to look at many other dealers, but from the moment we walked in we felt at ease. I do not believe anyone could have done a better job than he did. The business manager, Mr. Tom Barr, was also so kind and pleasant to work with. My sister-in-law, Cheryl Erlich, recently leased a 2012 Honda CRV EX AWD from Mungenast Honda. Her salesman was Joe Basler, with whom I dealt on Cheryl's behalf. I have not met Joe (I live in California) Honda CRV EX AWD from Mungenast Honda. Her salesman was Joe Basler, with whom I dealt on Cheryl's behalf. I have not met Joe (I live in California) but I dealt with him extensiveley on the phone to complete the transaction. I have had many car transactions during my 63 years, and I can honestly say that this one ranks on or near the top, thanks to Joe. I shopped around and spoke with several other dealers. None of them came close to matching Joe's professionalism, integrity and responsiveness. Cheryl wanted to trade in her car, but is nervous about driving on the highway to get to Mungenast. Joe drove out to Cheryl's house to inspect her car. He was extremely patient and accommodating. The car she wanted was not in inventory at Mungenast, so Joe and his sales manager searched around and finally found one in Tennessee. To secure the car Cheryl wanted, they traded 2 cars from their own inventory for the one in Tennessee. The price and terms of the lease, as well as the trade in value they assigned to Cheryl's car, were extremeley competitive. All in all, it was a great experience with an extremely satisfied customer. Our only hope is that Joe Basler is around in 3 years when Cheryl's lease is up. We look forward to dealing with him again. I called and St. Louis Honda and asked for their Internet Sales. Spoke with Joe Basler and in minutes he emailed me a quote for a new 2012 Honda Civic. I checked the quote against Edmunds.com and the price Sales. Spoke with Joe Basler and in minutes he emailed me a quote for a new 2012 Honda Civic. I checked the quote against Edmunds.com and the price quoted was below invoice price. There are 3 things that you need when buying a car: 1. A quality vehicle. Honda is known for their quality. Just look around as you drive... you will see Honda after Honda on the road. 2. A great price. St. Louis Honda shot me a quote lower than invoice price. 3. A great experience. I test drove the Civic and told Joe I would be back on Friday to purchase the car. He had the car waxed and ready to go when I got there. The stickers were off the car... Even though the car I was buying wasn't the most expensive on the lot (not by a longshot), Rick still answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns, and he never acted like he was too busy to do so. After an extended search for a good pre-owned car, I dealt with some dealerships and salesmen that almost made we want to just forget the whole idea of buying a car. Rick Brennan turned that attitude around. I would certainly recommend him and I would buy from him again. More

If nothing he has nothing that meets our needs, Rick continues to search and give us a call when he finds a vehicle we may like. He knows us and what we want and works hard to find what we needs at a reasonable cost. The review indicates our satisfaction of Rick knowing us and our needs. This is our 3rd vehicle purchased from Rick. There were a few minor details(no floor mats installed and 2nd key not programmed) that were not taken care of when we picked up the car. We texted Rick the night of pick-up and he took care of them the next day. As far as price, I never am fully happy with the price I pay for a car, but satisfied when dealing with Rick and STL Honda that I have received a competitive price. More
