Honda Scam Over Takata Airbag Recall BUYERS BEWARE!! This dealership is full of liars and scam artists. We were having issues getting a 2012 Acura TL with an airbag recall fixed. Goodson BUYERS BEWARE!! This dealership is full of liars and scam artists. We were having issues getting a 2012 Acura TL with an airbag recall fixed. Goodson Acura refused to give a loaner or rental even though Honda's website says otherwise. My mother drives an hour to work every day and this was a big concern for her. So, instead of continuing to fight with the dealership we opted to purchase a new Honda Accord from David McDavid. They had the audacity to use the airbag recall as an excuse for not giving market trade-in value for the Acura. They lied straight to our faces and said the car would sit on their lot for 8 months. Actually made us walk outside and pointed at a big parking lot and said these are all the trade ins waiting for airbags. Yet, 3 days later the Acura was posted on their website for sale. No integrity at this place. As victims of the recall, we're protected under consumer laws against things like this. They shouldn't be making us pay the bill for someone else's mistake. Being loyal to Honda products, we thought they would want to make things right. Instead they treated me like garbage and talked to me like I was dumb. Don't ever go here. I'll be pursing my legal options for a real resolution. More
