I was ginving some thought into trading my 2003 mustang GT in for a more fuel friendly honda. His polite, extremely fast response made me feel assured that nothing bad would come from a quick stop in for a look and chat. After a test drive and a speedy apprasial on my current mustang. They made a offer to pay off the remaining balance of my car, and worked up a decent deal on a great car with some very minor hail damage. Then a quick stop with Juan in financing, which was just as friendly and effiecint as my interactions with Ivan. And I was rolling out in my new car. I visited David McDavid honda of Irving recently and did a trade-in and purchased a new vehicle. After getting home...(not even 12 hours later) I discussed the final dealings with my fiance and we thought i a trade-in and purchased a new vehicle. After getting home...(not even 12 hours later) I discussed the final dealings with my fiance and we thought it was best to return the 2012 Crosstour and get my 2008 honda accord back. Who was once a very nice young man... (Jose) during the purchasing process, gave me the run-around when I explained to him my reason for wanting to return the vehicle. He first informed me that he did not know how the process worked so I was sent to his floor manager (jim). Jim was very unprofessional, unhelpful, defensive and rude. I then asked to speak with his manager who was "in meetings all day." I decided to take a trip to the dealership a couple of hours later to speak to them in person and told jose, my salesman, that I was on the way. when I arrived, he was no where to be found and I spoke with Jim AGAIN who became upset when I questioned him on their return policy of a vehicle (there is not one apparently). he waived his hands and told the receptionist to deal with me. WOW! I then spoke to someone over him (still not the GM) and he not only talked over me and did not allow me to explain my reason for needing to return the vehicle, he flat out said "well, we could take your car back but I don't want to." He then got up from the table while I was still talking and said that he was done with this conversation. REALLY?? I asked him the lot owner to give them a call and he lied about the information the first time and I had to get it from the receptionist. I am still currently trying to get some answers and hopefully will update this review with a resolution. More
