Sixty years old and never been lied to as much as I was today! Showed up at the dealership and Jose met us in the parking lot. We asked to see a couple trucks and then asked to see a GMC 2500 Denali. He today! Showed up at the dealership and Jose met us in the parking lot. We asked to see a couple trucks and then asked to see a GMC 2500 Denali. He said he only had a GMC 3500 Denali, but they had someone interested in it that was not there as he couldn't find the key and had to bring the backup key. So, we took it for a test drive. Decided we wanted to make a deal on it. Went inside, they tried to lowball us on our trade. Said KBB was $60,000 and I showed them KBB on my phone showing $68,000. The salesman showed me their printout and it showed almost $68,000 and when I pointed that out he said no that is what we can sell it for. I called their hand and they came back up $5,000 more for the trade. I asked for my military discount and they said it is included in the $5,000 they increased the trade amount. We came to terms on a deal and signed the paper excepting it. About 30 minutes later the person who gets the cars ready for sale came to get the keys. The original set was on the desk next to the desk we were at, our salesman gave it to her. About two hours later, the sales manager comes out and says I need to be honest with you, there are some module problems with the truck you want and I cannot have it in the shop till Monday. Why did the lady ask for the keys to clean it up? There were no alarms going off when we test drove it! The sales manager says I have another one in the back with the same problem I cannot sell. Why was the truck we drove out front to be sold if it has problems? Then the sales manager tried to sell us a used truck, GMC 2500 for more money than the truck we wanted. I said you going to make the same deal. He said no. Then he tried doing it with two more trucks lying to our faces. The truck we wanted was still out on the lot and put back in the line-up before they even came out with the lies. What it was, the owner's friend wanted that truck and so they wasted over three hours of our time. I just hope no one buys anything from a place that has the good ole boy system like this going on. More
