EXTREMELY POOR EXPERIENCE I've owned 2 BMW's and was very clear on what I was looking for. This dealership appeared to have it, however, I live 2 1/2 hours away in a neighborin I've owned 2 BMW's and was very clear on what I was looking for. This dealership appeared to have it, however, I live 2 1/2 hours away in a neighboring state. After talking to Brian, (sales person) over the course of 2 days and doing as much due diligence as possible I was ready to drive to the dealership and make my purchase. My credit is 'fair' but definitely NOT poor, (610-650 depending on the bureau). Prior to driving down we had agreed on a price as well as a 'window' that the APR would fall within. Upon making the 140+ mile drive my wife and I arrived at the dealership at 11A. I met Brian, sat inspected the car and then proceeded to his office where he then wrote on a scrap piece of paper a monthly payment amount that was at least $170 more than should be mathematically possible based on the maximum interest rate previously agreed upon. Each time I asked him "how are you coming up with this?" his simply said, "I don't know, that's the finance department." Are. You. Kidding. Me.? THIS IS MATH. It's VERY Simple. Finally I initialled his amount, (again written on a scrap piece of paper in a felt tip pen) so that I could speak to the finance department. In the interest of brevity here is what had taken place....the salesperson, (while using clever language) had told me that the lender was demanding GAP Insurance and service. Gap insurance I had agreed to and am even in favor of. The 'Service' was a 'Service Warranty' totalling $4,500, (I've since found the identical policy for $3,400, btw but still didn't elect to purchase it). NEVER did he differentiate b/t the two. Please know that I've been a professional salesperson for more than a decade and simply put, at best he was incompetent, but in my opinion he was outright deceitful. I bought but then returned, (after two weeks of disputing numerous parts of this transaction, not just the warranty add-on) the car but simply can't let this type of behavior slide by as it's why people are so often distrusting of sales people, a profession that should be one of service, not deceit. Was sold a filthy truck that had damage under all the dirt. Have bought all my Chevy's (3 in past 6 years) from this dealership but will not buy here again. We were told we were getting all the rebates plus extra off price because truck was a loaner and had bad bumper and grill and still ended up paying $37,000 for the damaged year old loaner truck. THE WAY THEY HANDLED THIS DEAL WAS CROOKED. More

He's friendly, professional, and did everything he could to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. I will ask for him personally anytime I'm looking for another vehicle. "I was saved" Adrian Lopez, was a pleasure doing business with. I only had a very short time to find a used care for the 2,000.00 that the insurance gave me for Adrian Lopez, was a pleasure doing business with. I only had a very short time to find a used care for the 2,000.00 that the insurance gave me for an accident that totaled my previous car. I was totally distraught and very concerned on trying to find a descent car for this low amount of money. So there I was, tired, discouraged, and out of time. I was referred to Mr. Lopez from another David Stanley Kia dealership who did not have the car I saw on the website. I did not know what to expect and figured I had nothing to lose and definitely no time left, so I decided to give it this one last try. Though Mr. Lopez was busy at the time I got there, when he did show up he immediately put my anxiety at ease with this very warm, friendly and down to earth, demeanor he possesses. After telling me that they had just picked up their used cars for auction, he took the extra effort to walk the lot anyway to see if there was anything left. Though I was not initially impressed with the car that was found, being an older sports car, he convinced me to take a test drive. He initially drove the car first with me in the passenger's seat to make sure he didn't detect anything that might be wrong and then he let me test drive it. Though it seemed to drive great I still had this great trepidation. Being the people person he is, he immediately picked up on my worry. And again he helped set me at ease by assuring me that I made the right decision. And after the paperwork was done and because I didn't have another driver, he volunteered to drive the other car for me that night. Wow, talking about customer service...and on a used car! Except, for some minor mechanical issues that normally would occur in a used car of its age and was taken care of by my mechanic, I have been very pleased with my new used car. I can't believe I walked out with a new car! I was really just seeing what my options were. Having less than stellar credit (as in, if someone stole my identity they would pay me to take it back I was really just seeing what my options were. Having less than stellar credit (as in, if someone stole my identity they would pay me to take it back!) I was pretty sure I wouldn't qualify for anything or my monthly payment would be too high. Israel Sheppard walked me through everything and got me the best deal possible. I drove off with a cute Chevy Cruze and I'm actually looking forward to the fact that this purchase will help rebuild my credit. Thank you Israel and the folks at David Stanley for making me feel like more than a number. More
