They sold me then THEY SUED ME!! JUST KEEP DRIVING!!! If the name is David Stanley, don't even go on the lot! My first experience with David Stanley was at David Stanley Dodge in MWC. Arrived at 2pm where If the name is David Stanley, don't even go on the lot! My first experience with David Stanley was at David Stanley Dodge in MWC. Arrived at 2pm where the sales person kept trying to sell me trucks that I did not want. The first was a truck dempled with OBVIOUS hail damage. When I pointed this out to her she replied "It is?" Then tried to sell me a truck they didn't even have on the lot. When we finally settled on a truck I liked well enough they spent another two hours trying to get me to agree to a payment much higher than I had told them I would pay. By the time we settled on a payment amount, it was 10:30pm, (This is the oldest trick in the book!) my kids were miserable, and we just wanted to go home. We ended up getting JACKED for 20% interest! They told us we could just trade it in, or re-finance in a year to lower the interest rate. It gets worse. A year later I am only shopping the Chevy lot on I240. Not really trying to buy, just looking. Thier first concern was to get my keys so they could "inspect my trade in." (This is the second oldest trick in the book!) This experince was much better. My salesman was GREAT, the finance manager was GREAT. Got the truck I wanted, a great interest rate and they never tried to upsell the payment. They let me take it home to show my wife, and we came back to sign the papers the next day. Did I just have a GREAT EXPERIENCE at a new car dealership? NOT SO FAST!!! Two months later I get a call from a lawyer saying David Stanley was sueing us because they had to pay to transfer the title! WHAT?! In talking to THREE DIFFERENT attorneys about this matter, I was told that David Stanley was “the worst dealership in the country!” and they receive calls about them on “almost a daily basis!”, and that I was "just one of many" to which this sort of hing has happened.b More
