I made an appointment with the service dept to have my key fobs replaced/reprogrammed bc of my purse being stolen. I needed to get the hinge bar and bolts for both doors too, as these were also included in the theft. I bought my 2021 rubicon in April with Matt as my sales rep. (He was awesome!) So I also needed my 1st oil change and tires rotated. I asked when I made the appointment if I could get a loaner car. I figured it would be more than a few hours to do all this. The guy who made my appointment said the new key fob would probably take 1-2 weeks to come in, so we set my appointment up for 3 weeks from the day I called. When I arrived, I was waited on by Byron, whom I don’t think couldn’t have been more unfriendly. He first kind if reprimanded me for NOT making an appointment. I stayed calm and explained that I indeed DID have an appointment and every time I tried to list off what all was to be done to my Jeep, he would interrupt saying “yah, I don’t see any notes, nothing. Just the appointment and I’m all out of loaner cars”. So he told me to leave my Jeep, and he would try and find out what was going on and call me. He told me it would be a week at the least to get parts in and said I could go wait in the waiting area. I just stood there and blinked . I had to call enterprise rental bc I had to get back to work. I waited an hour outside on the hard bench for the rental. Byron called the next day and said no parts were ever ordered. So it would be several days before they could get to it. But, he’d try to rush it. He called again saying that they entered the wrong vin #. Then he offered a discount on the key fob. Oh and the leather on my drivers seat needed tacked down. When I mentioned that he said they would look at it. He called again and said he would, bc of all the hassle I had, program the new key fob different and do the same with the one I had so that the thieves couldn’t come and steal my Jeep. And they would fix the leather FOR FREE. I actually laughed. I told him, the leather is on Jeep. They should fix it under warranty bc it’s on them and wow! That was the main reason I came in was to get a new key fob and have my existing one re-programmed bc MY PURSE WAS STOLEN. So I had to pay almost 300$ plus another 180$ for a rental car. I am not happy with Jeep service and feel something must be done. More
