I have a 2015 Ford f150 and the transmission line is leaking,davidson replaced them 5 years ago,and did a great job,however they are leaking again.I tried to make an appointment to get them replaced aga leaking,davidson replaced them 5 years ago,and did a great job,however they are leaking again.I tried to make an appointment to get them replaced again but was told they don't work on trucks over 10 years old, I had to ask twice to make sure what I hearing and was told the service manager said it was the policy to not work on trucks over 10 years old. Kinda unbelievable. More

My wife and I feel we were “catfished”! After the salesperson confirmed that the F150 truck was in great shape! (his words, which I still have in writing) We then drove the 3.5 hours to the dealership only to walk up to the truck to find very obvious damage! Salesman says ohh it must have been dirty when I looked at it. My understanding rather what I was told after other people saw it was Davidson will send this to wholesale. My first warning clue that I overlooked as I asked if they had another one similar but not as beaten up. Yes, we have one. So, we looked at it, drove it and then discussed price. We heard the common response that the vehicle was already discounted and not much more that they could do. I asked if they could install mudguards and rear wheel liners and a Hard tri-fold bed cover that we would agree with the price. He explained that the bed cover may not be in stock, and I asked if he could ship it to me. He responded yes. We agreed to move forward. We had to wait 3 hours for them to get the truck ready. At the three-hour mark we met with the finance person who took care of the paperwork, collected our money and actually convinced us to get the 10-year bumper to bumper coverage! The salesperson pulls our truck up, it is running and says you are all set. I drive off following my wife. At a light 30 minutes away from the dealership I check the keys, only to find out I only have one!! I pull over and call the salesman to find out that he will get one programmed on Monday and then mail it to me. Why did he not tell me he had only one key!!! Now onto earlier this week I have to follow up with the salesperson. Who tells me that there is nothing in writing stating that Davidson was going to pay for the bed cover! A miss understanding he says! I said and have this in writing that I didn’t feel I needed to, I had his word! Later that same afternoon a service person calls me, and my new key has arrived, and she wants me to come back for an appointment, I said I can’t do that. It would be another whole day spent. I asked if another dealer could do it, she wasn’t sure. So, I called one here in Plattsburgh and they will do it at a $79.00 cost! I had to schedule it for later this month and then called and asked the service lady to send me the key. My local dealer ship tells me that my ford was a “Blue certified “vehicle and that Ford makes sure they give out two sets of keys. Period! Without giving you my age, I will say I have or rather we have bought quite a few vehicles over the years from various dealers and different brands of vehicles and we have Never had an experience like this, and I have Never filled out a bad review either!! My hope is someone with authority will take steps to correct situations like this! Also in fairness, I did go all through this with the financial person who sat with us. He seemed respectful and someone that would listen. He agreed that this wasn’t fair to us . He could not change anything himself but was going to talk with the GSM, I assume he is the general manager today and get back to me. It’s almost 4pm and I have yet to get a response. Disappointed doesn’t cover how we feel! Especially after spending that much money!! John. It's now the end of day two and still no response.... More

Terrific experience at Davidson Ford in Watertown. Erin, Brett and Jerrod were all terrific. Davidson Ford had the vehicle I wanted on the lot. The deal was very, very good and more than fair. When the vehicle was handed over to me it was spotless and had a full tank of gas. Erin was very quick to get me the answers to a couple of questions I had and didn't push to give me that "vehicle tour" that you get when purchasing a new car or truck. It's not my first rodeo. Overall a terrific experience and I will definitely do business with Davidson Ford again. More
