Even though it took longer than I expected, the sales staff Adrian and Tim, was great. It's when I went to the finance manager that things went downhill. When I went over the final numbers with Adrian, everything was fine. Just what I was wanting. When I went into see the fianace manager, Chris, I advised him that I wasn't interested in buying any additional warranties. Chris advised me that there might be one I would be interested in that would actually reduces my monthly payment(??) and I would have free oil changes for the duration of the loan. It was the Customer Care program. I asked how that could be. He advised it was something the dealer does (not exact words). That said, I didn't bother looking over the final Buyers Order that closely, as I thought evrything was good to go based on discussions so far. Shame on me. I looked over the Buyers Order the day after. There was an additional $1570.00 line item which was the warranty. I called Chris. Left a message as it was Easter Sunday. He called back the following day and was accomodating and apologized for the "misunderstanding". However, he advised he couldn't back this out as it was an electronic buyers order. He said he would notify the lien holder and they wiill take the amount off of the end of the loan. I'm not exactly happy with that, as I'll pay interest on something I didn't want anyway. My monthly payment went from $427 to $454. I won't be back to this dealership for this reason. FYI, I buy a new vehicle every 2 or 3 years. More

I recently moved from Louisville Kentucky and have used a Chevrolet dealership for oil changes outside of Louisville every two months. I made an appointment for oil change with David Gainesville. I dropped the truck off and the oil change was estimated around $100. This is what I generally pay so I had no issue. I received a call from the service department stating the air filter was needing replaced. I asked how much and I heard the service representative say $88 plus of minus. When I picked the truck up the bill was $320. I questioned this and the service rep said she quoted $188.00 for the air filter. I would not have approved this and have never spent this much on an air filter. There was no attempt to resolve the discrepancy or seek management involvement. The rep said the manager would see my comments on the invoice I signed. I will not be returning to Davis Gainesville Chevrolet. The misquote was egregious and no customer dissatisfaction recovery was attempted. I was very disappointed. I paid the $320.00 and left. More
I brought my truck in clean and when I got it back it was dirty and mud all over it. When I questioned this I was informed that the back lot has dirt. Very disappointed as I am very busy so instead of enjoying my evening I had to go home and wash my vehicle!! More

My car was delivered to Chevrolet of Gainesville after the battery died and the car was locked. The dealer took care of the car very efficiently and made sure that I could get a loan vehicle. As I was getting ready to pick up the loaner car, Josh called me to let me know that the car was fixed. I'm very happy with the result. My car looks like new. More
