We test drove a red 2015 Mazda 6 and while I liked the feel of the car, I just knew I didn't want a red car. I told Mike this and he wasn't pushy at all. He didn't try to persuade me to try a different model than the one I specified and respected the fact that I didn't want a red car. I left my number and asked if he would let me know when another used Mazda 6 came in. He texted me the next day with info and pictures of a Mazda 6 that had just been traded with great mileage and a great price. Mike was willing to come in on his day off to show me the car and to help me get a good deal. I would highly recommend working with Mike. He was fun to be around and didn't ever get pushy or snippy when I nitpicked. He never talked down to me, which was a huge concern at other dealerships that I visited. He genuinely just seemed concerned about finding the right car for me. Thanks, Mike! Professional, No Hassle Sales Experience My college-aged daughter's 2003 SUV blew its engine on Friday, April 27 and we had to find a replacement vehicle in short order. We identified the My college-aged daughter's 2003 SUV blew its engine on Friday, April 27 and we had to find a replacement vehicle in short order. We identified the Mazda 3 as a possible replacement and we were considering either a late-model used or new car for her. We arrived at Davis-Moore Mazda at 6 pm, about 1 hour before they were to close on Saturday, April 28. We were greeted by salesman Fahim Kahn. He asked several questions about what we were thinking and then started to show us vehicles that he had. We started looking at a new 2018 Mazda 3 sedan. We liked it and Fahim did a short demonstration of the vehicle and allowed us to test drive the car. We then looked at a very attractive certified pre-owned 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback. This car had recently been traded in and had better features and about the same price as the new vehicle. Even though I am not one to make impulse purchases, I realized this was a good deal and this car might not be around if we waited to look at other cars and dealers. We negotiated a bit and even though we were now past the dealership's closing time, Fahim did not pressure us and worked with us through the details of the purchase. Ian Murdick, a business manager, also stayed late and gave us pricing from various financing companies. We selected the best option and Ian quickly worked through the paperwork. By 9 pm, Fahim put the temporary tag on the vehicle and my daughter, my wife and I were on our way. I even didn't have a check for the deposit and they were fine with me bringing them the deposit check on Monday morning. I had dreaded buying the car based on previous experiences with "what would it take to get you to buy today" salesmen, their high-pressure tactics and their ignorance about their vehicles. Fahim was extremely professional and knowledgeable about Mazda's products and took time to explain why the Mazda 3 was a good option for us. Likewise, Ian quickly worked with us on the financing and expertly explained the terms of the financing and the pros and cons of each option. I would definitely recommend Davis-Moore Mazda! More
