I spent $30k on a used pickup truck last week and it was late. We took the test drive literally around the block and was told any issues found by Tuesday will be taken care of and not to worry. I came in Tuesday and had expressed concerns regarding the steering wheel violently shaking when I stop and that the brake rotors were wrapped. Come to find out from Alex the service advisor that a set of brake pads were installed and the rotors weren't cut or replaced and to come back Saturday and it'll be taken care of. I came back Saturday morning and the rotors had worsened I had to hold both hands on the steering wheel when coming to a stop they were so warped I expressed that to Alex and asked him how long it would take to have the rotors replaced he said it shouldn't be but a few hours few hours Go by and I get the text to come pick up my vehicle. Before I entered the service department I saw my truck in the parking lot check the rotors and they weren't replaced they had turned or cut them and for most of you folks a warped brake rotor is like a potato chip you cannot cut or grind it down because you're only taking the rotational balance out of one way and reversing it the other basically like trying to cut an edge of a potato chip to try to make it straight you just can't do it but he explained to me first thing out of his mouth was I only do what they tell me to do. In turn as upset as I was I expressed to him to give me my keys and not to speak another word to me I march straight into the showroom and spoke with Ken the general manager on shift that day and I asked Ken the same thing if you just purchased a $30,000 vehicle knew it was not right with warped brake rotors and you brought it to this service shop and they cut the rotors would you put your family into that vehicle to drive that vehicle down the road and the first thing out of his mouth is what he told me I only do what they tell me to do. Now this came from the general manager I'll let you think about that before you go purchase a vehicle there or go have it service there this was my first and last mistake and vehicle with them folks there's higher quality dealerships more professional and they will not lie to you or steal your money from you take my story to heart Don't do it save yourself the aggravation the headaches and let alone the liability and nightmare if you getting in an accident and killing yourself or someone else. And for my salesman he was a great person did a great job and his name is Carson . For Alex and Ken just remember for every action there's an equal reaction called karma you guys have to live with what you do to people and what you steal from people and how you treat them let that rest well with you. stay away folks this is a bad place More
