Turned in my old lease vehicle, fiinalized a deal on a new lease and left fully satified with vehicle, out of pocket cash and monthy costs. It is a BRAND NEW car (3500 miles). With 3000 miles (went for the 2 year Maintenance contract provided Oil Change). The guys did a poor job, careless job. The oil was spilled all over and even after a month for the 2 year Maintenance contract provided Oil Change). The guys did a poor job, careless job. The oil was spilled all over and even after a month it stinks. The worst factor was the Oil was not low. The car is new and my kid would not have noticed and would have run the car down with minimal engine oil. I called and complained about the poor service 3 weeks back. No response. Though the lady took the complaint was polite. And wrote a complaint to the Toyota Corporate. An automated mail comes back - but no action. They even give a deadline. Nothing happens. Fundamentally they do not care. Lousy attitude. And this may have led to a dangerous situation - especially when you donot expect these in a brand new car to fail for lack of engine oil. And driven by a college bound kid who may not even suspect these kind of problems. Never ever will recommend their service. Such arrogance. More
The waiting area was comfortable and clean with refreshments. I was kept informed when told 2 cars were ahead of me and it might take an hour. Only thing missing was the invoice did not list "tire rotation" which previous ones did but it did show tire pressure so I assumed they were rotated, It was raining so the car was not washed which is correct. I was lucky meeting Paul Cifaldi, the first person at the door. I call it a blessing. I had no intention to buy just look over the showroom. Paul was not pushy, acted in a friendly manner noticed I drove a '99 Avalon. Asked if I had any definite car in mind. He showed me the Camry it's features, sales history and ranking from past years. Asked if I would like to see an Avalon and it's features and after the test drive my interest took over. He was always kind, caring making sure I understood, asking if I had any questions not to hesitate to ask. He was quiet speaking, I noticed some were loud and distracting. Paul worked with me test drove several units. While on the road continued explaining the cars features and reason to consider buying from Dayton. Spoke of the service department, hours open, customers lounge plus it's a family owned business and the nicest people to work with. That really got my interest as I was a partner of a successful family business. I decided to ask pricing of the Avalon and in no time at all and with little back and forth I was assured and happy Dayton was where I would purchase. Saying I wanted to go home and discuss with my wife he fully understood and asked when we could get together again. Gave me his phone numbers and call if we had any questions. The next day the sale was consummated. I highly commend Paul and the manner in which he worked. I hope you never lose him as he is a fine asset to your company.
