Terrible Experience. The salesman was seriously pushy. Started off by taking my car keys, and then would not give them back when I later asked for them, stating I needed t The salesman was seriously pushy. Started off by taking my car keys, and then would not give them back when I later asked for them, stating I needed to go get lunch. He showed me several cars, but did not show me anything that I had come to see (I’d been told when I called that there were 2 Kia Souls in my price range, and I told him that a Soul would be perfect for what I needed, as it has towing capacity and good gas mileage. He never showed me one.) Instead he tried to like force me into a Saturn Ion the exact same year as one I bought 10 years ago. For the same price I paid ten years ago! Then tried to wheel and deal it and got all huffy when I said, “No I just don't want it.” Thing is, he had just showed me a Ford Focus, and told me it was in my price range, and I asked if I could test drive it. He said sure…then changed his mind, and told me he had to take the golf cart back 1st. He showed me the Ion, and I told him that I DID NOT NEED TO DRIVE IT AS I HAD OWNED ONE BEFORE. So he dropped me and my mother off and went back to get ,I thought, the Focus I wanted to drive, but instead arrived with the Ion, and told me the Focus was too expensive for me. Then he showed me some piece of crap with a broken rearview mirror but made me and my 75 YEAR OLD MOTHER walk out to the 3RD lot to see it rather than drive us out in the cart again. And then when I said no to that he said he'd get me my Mazda keys and took off like walking at a run almost. My ELDERLY MOTHER and I had to hustle back and she's too old for that! Anyway, I was going to just leave and his boss said let us show you one more thing. They brought me another Ford Focus, which I did buy. But why didn't he show me that first?? Then it was time to pay, and I had not realized I could not put the full amount on my debit card, and had to leave and get some cash from the bank. The salesman put a dealer plate on a Kia Soul (remember that’s what I originally wanted) and he sent me and my mother alone to go get the $$. My mother said in a horrified voice, “Why would he use the term xxxxxx bag in front of a woman my age? Does he not know what it means?” Apparently, he had been chatting with her and used the term. Unprofessional. Horrifying for a 75 year old woman. We had gone maybe 1 mile from the dealership, when the gas light came on. It was a good thing the bank wasn’t far away. Upon returning with the cash, the salesman asked how I’d liked the Soul, and jokingly (??) asked if I wanted that one instead. Uh….yeah, that’s what I had come for. I will never buy another car from this dealership. I will NEVER recommend it to anyone. I am deeply unsatisfied with the entire experience. More

Very happy! This is the first time I've owned a Kia, and I wasn't sure what to expect service-wise. You see, for the past decade or so, I had been subject to, and This is the first time I've owned a Kia, and I wasn't sure what to expect service-wise. You see, for the past decade or so, I had been subject to, and used to inefficient and rude service at the car dealership I used to go to, before I bought this car. I made a 10 am appointment online and as soon as I pulled into the service drive way, Chris came out to greet me. Incidentally, my appointment didn't show up on his list but it didn't faze him one bit. He explained that they have been experiencing issues with their online system, and despite a full schedule, took on my job right away, updated my information on their database, and sent my car in for maintenance. He even asked me if I wanted my car washed, and I said yes. He then explained that it was washed by hand which would take an extra 20 minutes. I have an Owlcam in my car, and noted that a tech started working on my car as soon as Chris dropped it off. Impressive! If that sounds normal or even expected to you, realize that for the past decade, I have experienced awful service at the car dealership I used to go to before I bought my Kia. Something like that would have caused me to wait an average of 1 to 2 hours just to get my car looked at. No kidding. Hand washing cars were out of the question, and a machine wash would have cost me an extra $10.00 at the other place. When I picked up my car, I was thrilled to see that even my tires were cleaned and looked detailed. Are you kidding? Just for a regular maintenance visit? At the last place, detailing cost me a bomb, and even so, visible streaks would be all over my windshield, and it took a day or so before it was done. Not to mention the detailing employees there were some of the surliest people I have ever encountered. Truth is, I had been thinking about changing my car, but after this experience, I think I'll hold on to my Kia for a while longer. Thank you Chris, for making my first service visit such a smooth-sailing and non-stressful experience! I promise my review next year will be shorter, when I become more entitled to your great service! More
