I was actually visiting the Honda dealer next door but they pretty much ignored me so I wandered over to Mazda since I had a Mazda Miata and loved it. After days of car shopping, my husband and I were getting so frustrated and ready to call it quits for a while. Facebook got him this one, I will get on to him about it when my license plates arrive! NEwho, being not even a week in the states, I went to mazda with a very strict budget with credit as fresh as the day I was born. And Billy went the extra mile when it came to explaining the vehicle, from top to bottom n front to back. I mean things me or my MOM!, would have never even thought to ask about a vehicle. And also when he was negotiating with his managers and explaining my situation, if it wasn't for his in depth detailed showing of my new baby, I don't think we could of came to an agreement. But, I comfortably moved my budget up quite a bit lol. Do not regret it one bit, I mean its ALOT of bang for the buck!! But yea, I highly recommend Mazda of Clearlake. Even signing the paperwork, have heard some gruesome stories about the finance/signing away your life part of it, but my Mom and I both felt very comfortable and Billy filled us in on what was going to be covered. Nothing but smiling faces and a good atmosphere. ASK FOR BILLY SWIGGETT!! On top of being extremely informative I didn't feel pressured once. My boyfriend and I went into the dealership Monday looking to purchase the Mazda 2. Jesse was very quick to help us get seated for a test drive. He was very personable and easy to talk to. We left on a good note just needing to get a few more things in line on our side. Today we went in and he wasn't there. :( But we got the pleasure of working with Chris, who was also just as friendly. There was a lot of waiting today, due to trying to get everything squared away with financing. He came to communicate every 5 minutes so we knew what we were waiting on. After everything said and done we drove off the lot at 9:20 with our new car. They close at 9, and with out any complaints he stayed late for us. He took care of us and made sure we left happy. He also gave me a few pointers for learning to drive manual. More

Rayan Carter is a well groomed young man with a friendly smile and out going personality. He was very respectful of me and very attentive to my many questions I had about the mazda 6, and if he didn't have smile and out going personality. Ryan was very helpful to me in finding the right car for me, even tho the color choice was my second he spent time in trying to locate the one I wanted. The personnel there were friendly and helpful to each other while not being brash or pushy in getting you to buy a car from them. The over all experience to me was wonderful for a single female who was buying the car. Without any hesatation recomend Clear Lake Mazda to any one on their freindleness, courtesy,cleanlyness of the showroom as well as the sourrounding areas. More

Chris was very patient when we went looking at cars. He took the time to explain and show us a couple different cars. He was friendly and informative, stayed late to let us test drive a couple. When we returned a few days later, at 0900 knowing exactly what car we wanted, it was a bit frustrating. We sat at the desk by ourselves most of the time, not knowing what the heck was going on behind the scenes. Different people would come up to us asking if we wanted to add on things to our purchase. Only at the very end of the deal, over 3 hours later, did we finally meet the finance manager, Tim, and he already had all of our paperwork ready to sign. He hadn't even talked to us prior, to ask if we wanted certain insurances, etc. I hope he sticks to his word and cancels what we don't want. I know buying a car isn't really a simple process, but If I hadn't really wanted that one specific used car, we probably would have walked out of there after a couple of hours. I don't know, maybe they need more than one person who can finalize a purchase. Other than the long uninformed wait, the experience was decent. I really really hope their followup is good, mainly the service department. I would probably recommend this dealership. Everyone was friendly. Just be prepared to wait a while. And look at your paperwork very carefully. Thanks again Chris for your patience, and helpfulness. More
