Chris went above and beyond with us. Every question was answered immediately and correctly. There were some things that i wanted done to the vehicle and he took care of them without any issues. I have been searching for a new vehicle online - so I could look at multiple makes/models etc. and review every safety record and test I could find. When I found the models I was most interested in I started the specific search...and found the Mazda of ClearLake site. Through the online system I was thankfully connected to Matt Kinard. We communicated through email and by phone then I went and met him in person to look at several vehicles. He was willing to answer any questions I had, didn't mind taking me on quite a bit of a test drive, and was so friendly and helpful. I found him quite accomodating and not pushy! Yes, I am a woman who was trying to do all the searching and buying on my own. His manager Jorge was helpful as well and willing to let me take the car, if I wanted to, to meet with my husband who was unable to shop with me when I came to really check out the cars. This went on for several days and I kept sending Matt questions and he always sent me information, internet pricing deals, more files on other cars, etc. I felt he understands true customer service and is a caring and dedicated person who tries to understand needs and meet those needs as best as possible. The dealership gave me a very fair trade-in amount for my SUV and I decided on a great new little SUV thanks to Matt and his hard work. I would recommend anyone to visit with Matt for a new Mazda or even a pre-loved vehicle on their lot. Heck, and my purchase includes lifetime oil changes, so I cannot knock that! :) More

I've been slowly looking for a car over the past year or so. I came to the dealer multiple times to test drive multiple cars (all with Matt), and he was absolutely patient and helpful. Any time I had a question, he was quick to answer, or to tell me he didn't know the answer but that he would find out and get back to me. And amazingly, he would always call me back within the next 24 hours with an answer to my question. I appreciate the fact that he knew what he didn't know and wouldn't make up an answer more than you can imagine. I hate dealers that lie, and I have walked out of dealerships before when told something that I knew for a fact was not true. I never had that issue working with Matt. I have never had him tell me something untrue, and I have never had him try to hard-sell me, making me much more comfortable and ensuring that I would definitely come back. In fact, this is my second new Mazda that I have bought from Matt. The first time was such a great experience, and he got me such a good price, that I came back to buy my second car 3 years after buying the first. Basically, Matt is what I consider an ideal car salesman. He does not push you to buy ASAP, but by making you comfortable, he ensures your business. My wife also loved working with him, and she's much more untrusting of salesman than I am. If you're considering a Mazda (and you should, the new Mazda 6 is an amazing machine), you can't go wrong with coming to Mazda of Clear Lake and asking for Matt. No matter how long it takes you to decide on a car, Matt will work with you, never steer you wrong, and answer all your questions honestly and truthfully. More
