David Turner was extremely helpful in my search for a new vehicle. I had originally gone in one night to test drive a Mazda3 and he took me out although it was very close to closing time. I liked it but told him I wanted to wait a few days to make a decision, he did not push to make a sale one bit... he wanted to make sure I loved the car before buying. A few days later he touched base with me and I told him I was interested in a CX-7, although it was a bit out of my price range we made a deal that I could afford and I left a happy customer! It took about 3 weeks to actually come to a decision because during the process we had a family member pass away and during that time David would call to touch base but never once mentioned trying to make a sale but instead only gave his condolences. That was really friendly and he absolutely earned my business with his customer service and care. More

My experience with James and Fred was superior. They were attentive to my every need and made the sales process a truly enjoyable experience. If I only had to deal with them I would have given this dealershi attentive to my every need and made the sales process a truly enjoyable experience. If I only had to deal with them I would have given this dealership the highest rating possible. Ahmad on the other hand, the sales manager, was a completely different story. He nickel and dimed me and even threw on an extra fee at the closing table that I had not been notified about beforehand. He absolutely gave the impression that they cared more about the last penny they could squeeze out of me, rather than having a satisfied customer. He was even prepared to have me walk out without buying the car over $300 that he had tacked on to the already agreed upon price of the car without my approval. When I asked to speak to the general manager, he even went so far as to inform me that the general manager wasn't ever there and wouldn't be able to help me as he didn't know anything about day to day operations. That is the first time I've ever heard of a general manager who doesn't know what's going on in his own store. That may just be the source of the issue though. I left with a great car but a very foul taste in my mouth. I am telling everyone I know not to use this dealership. More

Overall my experience with Clear Lake Mazda was very easy. I picked my CX-7 and was able to drive off the lot that same day.
