My experience with DePaula Mazda should serve as a warning to other consumers. I received a written online quote that was confirmed over the phone, only to have the dealership refuse to honor it wh warning to other consumers. What followed were multiple shifting explanations as to why the agreed-upon price no longer applied. This is not how transparent or professional dealerships operate. It places customers—especially those less experienced in car buying—at a clear disadvantage and pressures them into accepting terms they did not agree to. I chose to walk away rather than engage in what felt like a classic bait-and-switch. Adding to the concern, the Business Manager never returned my follow-up call. Buyers should protect themselves: get all pricing in writing, confirm all fees in advance, and be prepared to leave if the numbers change when you arrive. Dealerships that rely on this type of sales approach should expect it to be called out publicly. More
