A Decent Experience My wife and I had decided that our next vehicle would be an Acura, and so started the dreaded shopping trips. Delray Acura was our second stop. The sales manager directed us to salesman Jesus Pizarro, which turned out to be pretty awesome. Jesus is a very personable guy, to me a different kind of salesman than was expected, the plus for me was being a Marine Veteran, Jesus has also served his country in the Navy. The vehicle color was the issue, the dealership didn't have it, but the sales manager lead us to believe it was not an issue, they could locate one nearby for us and possibly by that afternoon, will as luck would have it that didn't happen. The next day the dealership was still negotiating with another dealership to get out vehicle, long story short it was Jesus who expedited the process so that we were able to get the vehicle late Sunday afternoon. Jesus was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and provided a very relaxed environment throughout this experience. To me Jesus is an asset to this dealership, his efforts help make the dreaded car buying experience,a pleasurable one. The paperwork that goes along with this process was not really that bad, other than you have to cross a side street and go to Delray Hyundai for the closing. ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR OLD PARTS BACK I WENT THERE WITH BAD SCREECHING COMING FROM MY BRAKE AREA, IT FELT UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE WRITER SAID THEY WERE TO BUSY TO TAKE IT. SHE WENT TO ASK A I WENT THERE WITH BAD SCREECHING COMING FROM MY BRAKE AREA, IT FELT UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE WRITER SAID THEY WERE TO BUSY TO TAKE IT. SHE WENT TO ASK A TECH AND HE SAID IT'S OK TO DRIVE AND COME BACK ANOTHER TIME. HOW DID HE KNOW IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE,, HE DID NOT COME OUT TO LOOK AT THE CAR. I SAID I AM LEAVING IT, I FELT UNSAFE DRIVING IT. LATER THAT DAY THE SERVICE WRITER CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THE TECH TOLD HER TO TELL ME I NEEDED BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, I SAID OK BUT I WANT MY OLD PARTS BACK, SHE SAID NO PROBLEM. TWO MINUTES LATER SHE CALLS ME BACK AND SAID THE TECH SAID ONE ROTOR WAS REALLY OK AND I COULD LEAVE IT AND SAVE $150.00 OR SO.I TOLD HER TO TELL HIM TO DO BOTH, YOU DO NOT ONLY CHANGE ONE ROTOR, THEN THEY WILL BE DIFFERENT AND GIVE A BAD RIDE.IF I HAD NOT CALLED BACK AND SAID I WANTED THE OLD PARTS HE WOULD NEVER HAVE GIVEN ME THE OPTION. WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP MY CAR THERE WAS ONLY ONE ROTOR AND THE BREAK PADS IN MY TRUNK. I WENT BACK IN AND ASKED A SERVICE WRITER TO ASK THE TECH FOR THE OTHER ROTOR. THE TECH CAME OUT WITH IT AND ASKED ME I THOUGHT YOU ONLY WANTED THE BAD ROTOR NOT THE GOOD ONE. xxx! THEN LIKE A JERK I TIPPED HIM $20, ( I WAS BROUGHT UP THAT WAY)HE DID NOT EVEN SAY THANK YOU. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN IT OUT OF HIS HANDS RIGHT THEN AND THERE.THIS IS FRAUD. LATER THAT DAY SOMEONE FROM THE SHOWROOM CALLED ME TO ASK HOW MY EXPERIENCE WAS, NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED, SHE WAS FLOORED. SHE SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK THE NEXT DAY, NOT A WORD. JUST LIKE I EXPECTED. THE NEXT STOP FOR ME IS CHANNEL 12 NEWS. I GAVE THEM A CHANCE TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT, BUT NOTHING, NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL. WORST BUSINESS PRACTICES BUT THEY GOT CAUGHT.
