Corry, At Delray Hyundai, we take all customer feedback and concerns seriously. After reviewing your comments, we met with our sales team, service manager, and general manager—whom you've spoken with on several occasions—to discuss the matter. The certified vehicle you purchased passed its inspection prior to being sold five months ago. The issue you’ve raised appears to be the result of a sticky substance near the shifter, which occurred after the purchase and is considered consumer-caused. While this type of issue is not covered under warranty, Delray Hyundai remains committed to supporting our customers. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered to repair the vehicle. We also contacted the dealership in New Mexico; however, they are not obligated to perform the repair since it falls outside warranty coverage. Again, as a courtesy, if you return the vehicle to Florida, we will gladly schedule an appointment to have it repaired. Thank you.

Hello, The button didn’t work when I first attempted to pick the car up from the dealership after it was purchased before I even drove the car off of the lot and took possession of the car. My vehicle was left in your dealerships care to fix the broken button, but I had to return to work so I could not leave vehicle there longer as discussed with the sales and service departments. It is insulting that you try to blame me for this even when the part to fix it was ordered by your service department before I even drove the car off the lot.

Corry, Delray Hyundai will be more than glad to address all your concerns. You will however need to bring the car back to Florida and into the dealership. We have no authority with other dealerships out-of-state, especially since it is not covered under any warranty. Thank You

Hi - If you GM would return one of my many messages I left to discuss other solutions that may be of some help. As mentioned, I am unable to return to Florida and your team assured me that would not be an issue back when I bought the car 5 months ago (and I have been dealing with this complicated process ever since)
