Date of Visit: 06/18 I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership with a salesperson named DJ. When I went in to discuss a trade-in for my vehicle, they offered me $48,000. I countered with a request for $53,000, which I believe is reasonable given the current market and a cash offer I had already received elsewhere. DJ returned with a paper in hand and rudely said, “You paid $53K for this vehicle a month ago and now you want the same price? It doesn’t work like that.” I told him that I have every right to ask for any amount, and he can simply decline it—there’s no need to be disrespectful. I even pointed out that a vehicle’s value has nothing to do with what I originally paid. Just because I bought it for $53K doesn’t mean it’s unreasonable to expect a fair trade-in if that’s what it’s worth today. When I showed him a competing cash offer of $51,000 and said I’d make a deal at $51,500, he snatched the paper out of my hand and asked us to leave. His behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I reported the incident to the sales director on the spot, but he remained silent and offered no apology or resolution. Now, two days later, both the same salesperson and the director are texting and calling me saying they’re ready to make the deal on my terms. I find that incredibly insincere and opportunistic—only reaching out because they likely couldn’t sell their vehicle elsewhere. Even if they offer me $55,000 now, I will not return. This dealership has lost my trust. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not dismissed and insulted for negotiating. More

I was recommended by someone that previously had an outstanding experience with their team and my experience was no less than the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Derrick Walker was my sales associate and I’ll definitely be visiting him again for my next vehicle purchase. I called ahead and told Derrick which vehicle I was looking at and that I was short on time (after wasting a full morning at another dealership) and when I got to Denton Dodge, the truck was already pulled up and ready for me to inspect. I gave him the keys to my trade in and what I had been offered at the other dealership and he immediately went to work getting it evaluated while I inspected the truck. He sat down with me and I told him exactly where I wanted to be in payments and within 20 minutes he had my trade offer ready and exactly where it needed to be and paperwork ready to get payments figured out. While it was getting sorted out, we sat and talked and had great conversations. The entire staff was so welcoming to my three children that were with me as well. It only took about 30 minutes for all of the financing details to get worked out and when I went back to financing, he offered to keep an eye on my kids for me. Financing was quick and they had payments below where I told them I wanted them. The financing manager, Brannon Adkisson, was also great to deal with and he had been listening to what I was telling Derrick I was looking for. He didn’t try to sell needless add-ons or extra packages that he knew I wasn’t wanting. When the truck was done getting washed and detailed, Derrick showed me all of the features on the truck and helped me set up my phone. I have NEVER had a more pleasing experience at a dealership and I’ve for sure never walked out of one in under 1.5 hours with a new vehicle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! More
