I went in for a routine oil change and mentioned that I was hearing a noise from the engine area. The service team inspected the vehicle and recommended replacing the belt tensioner and both belts, saying was hearing a noise from the engine area. Took about 2 hours for an oil change with appointment. To be fair a customer was giving the service writer a hard time and tied her up for about an hour arguing about an extended warranty item. That’s why I never buy extended warranty products. They are so restrictive and the warranty company is not looking out for the customer just how to get out of covering when you have a problem. The dealer tried to compensate me for the delay by.giving me a 29.95 special on a future oil change. I have purchased 2 new CX50 over the past 6 months and received 2 free services on the new cars. If over the next services I will determine if the service department is still worth the wait. More
