Made an appointment to have my car receive a computer diagnoses done due to check engine light on. I have had this done in the past with a different vehicle at a different repair shop. I am being generou diagnoses done due to check engine light on. I have had this done in the past with a different vehicle at a different repair shop. I am being generous saying it took fifteen minutes total time, while I stood there watching. Person who made the appointment wanted to keep my car overnight, stating I could not wait for it, which I made clear that was not to happen. Now I see on the printout of my appointment that my car is to be dropped off. If they seriously need a full 24 hours plus to do a fifteen minute job, they certainly need some remedial training on how to do a computer diagnoses for check engine light. Red flags are flying up here, what do they REALLY want to do to my car? More
