I brought my 2018 Ram 2500 in due to a caliper sticking (still under warranty). I was told I needed a spring kit. When I asked what that was, I was told it was a kit for the caliper. I asked if he meant th (still under warranty). I was told I needed a spring kit. When I asked what that was, I was told it was a kit for the caliper. I asked if he meant the parking brake, and I was told no, for the caliper. I told him there is no spring kit in a caliper and I was advised I was wrong. When I asked how much, it was about $165. I asked about the warranty and I was told it wouldn’t cover. Later the service adviser called and said it was under warranty. I picked the truck up and the slides for the caliper had been replaced. Truck works great but either the service adviser has no clue or they were trying to take advantage of me. “Spring assembly kit needed for the caliper”. Again, they made it right but lost my trust.
