Working from out of state and truck broke down. I had to rent a truck and called for an appt. I took the truck and dropped it off the night prior. One week later they still haven’t even started on I had to rent a truck and called for an appt. I took the truck and dropped it off the night prior. One week later they still haven’t even started on it. I am stranded cause I have to take the other truck back. Terrible service but at least since they never started on it so there was no cost. Why give me an appt if you are going to leave my truck outside for a week? I will have to go somewhere else . Edit** service Mgr got involved and got my truck fixed in four days. Overpriced used car, I left when they wouldn’t take my offer & as soon as I left they marked it down to my offer. Not very friendly. On 6/28/23, Dewey Ford Service, Ankeny, IA recommended the replacement of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter on my 2015 Ford F250 (est. $7500) I declined the repair deciding to get a 2nd opinion. I too the replacement of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter on my 2015 Ford F250 (est. $7500) I declined the repair deciding to get a 2nd opinion. I took my truck to an independent repair center. The DPF did not need replacement. The DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system needed repair in order to clean & regenerate the DPF. My truck’s emission system is functioning normally. I am very happy I didn’t trust Dewey Ford with this repair. I am $7500 richer & Dewey Ford is $7500 poorer. More
