My daughter bought a 2016 "certified" Kia Soul from Dewey Ford in ankeny iowa 3 WEEKS AGO...I had no idea they were so sneaky and greedy. The certified car she bought was using A LOT of oil and it turn Dewey Ford in ankeny iowa 3 WEEKS AGO...I had no idea they were so sneaky and greedy. The certified car she bought was using A LOT of oil and it turns out the motor is bad. Imagine that! But to top.it ALL off, the sales man still talked her into a $4500 extended warranty. NEITHER of these warranties cover pistons. Imagine that. So not only did they sell her a BAD certified car BUT they talked her out of another $4500. She has 3 kids15, 12 and 11. She is the only parent in the household and works 2 jobs. The second job is why she was buying the car because so much travel is required. I am so angry and hurt that in this situation. My daughter has tried and worked so hard and then to have some dealership that we all know makes money hand over fist takes advantage of single parent household just trying to keep their head above water. What is she supposed to do. This car she bought 3 weeks ago. I know everyone has their problems but come on...they have toldher that they are sorry but that's all they can / will do. I am so ashamed of my fellow man and at Christmas time to boot. I could say so much more but it isn't going to make a difference. They are money hungry and always will be. Sorry these car dealers ever got bailed outby government. More

I took my car in for it to be serviced without an appointment. Ben secured an opening right away. He has helped me several times in the past and is always pleasant and efficient. Then, when I got back home, I noticed some marks on the vehicle. I drove back two days later. I talked with service manager Brian and service man David about the situation. They immediately walked out with me to view the car and listened to my concerns. Brian then drove the car back to further investigate and discuss it with his service people. He came back to update me on his findings, and furthermore, stated that he would have his workers buff out the issue right away. Problem remedied! The vehicle looks great. I hesitated to return to Dewey Ford to express my concerns, but am so glad I did. Brian and David treated me with respect and kindness. Thanks to both of you for helping me!! You showed excellent customer service! More
Bought my f150 from them at the end of May(working with Jason), 2 weeks after having it the engine started ticking. Took my 2017 Taurus in at the appointed time yesterday and it never made it into the shop by late last night. Now i need to wait an extra day to get it back by Friday if I'm lucky. I've bought my last four vehicles there and I'm not sure i will ever go back. They seem to not value loyal customers much. They have no problem selling you a car, though. I drive from the deep south side of Des Moines to Dewey just for the service, now it isn't there anymore. I can go to the dealer in Indianola easier. More
We ordered a new vehicle from Dewey Ford for which we were required to leave a deposit. The vehicle arrived at the dealership 5 months later just at the time I was having major orthopedic surgery. I wa were required to leave a deposit. The vehicle arrived at the dealership 5 months later just at the time I was having major orthopedic surgery. I was told by our salesman that Dewey Ford would work with us and to not be concerned ,but when it came down to it the dealership threatened to sell the vehicle out from under us and not only would we lose a vehicle that was in high demand, we would lose our deposit. The day after arriving home from the hospital we had to travel 120 miles round trip to Dewey Ford to complete the purchase. After this horrible customer service experience with them I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In dealing with the staff at Dewey we found that all 5 of the employees we had contact with outright lied to us and also in their response to the BBB complaint. The Dewey Ford motto, “We Treat You Better”, couldn’t be further from the truth. More
